Chapter Four By the time work was done that night, Stacey would have given anything to sink into a hot bath until the water turned cold. But the bus was delayed in traffic due to a two-car accident on the road. She didn’t get home until close to midnight. The apartment complex was as quiet as a mouse by the time she reached it.
