Eric POV;
After leaving Akara in the room sleeping, I went downstairs to the dining room to speak with my parents. When I arrived at the dining room, I saw both my parents sitting at the head of the table. I walked over and sat at my usual place, which is the left side of where they were seated. I see food has already been placed on the table ready to be served to us. I sit and patiently wait for them to ask me the question they have been dying to ask me since I got back from the Earth realm and not a minute later my father asked me.
"Is it really her son?"
"Yes, it is really her. I wouldn't have brought her back here if I wasn't sure it was her." I said to my father with a grin on my face.
My mother gave me a strange look and said "You know you are smiling son." She pointed out to me.
I didn't even realize it but I was smiling, something that I never did.
"I guess I am mother." I said to her.
"How sure are you that it is her? my father asked me in a serious tone.
"I am fairly certain that it is her father. Although she is not aware of who or what she is," I said to them.
They both gasped at my answer and both asked how?
"Well, if she knew what she was or who she was, she wouldn't be on the Earth realm, number one, and second of all she would have kicked my a*s so hard I wouldn't be sitting on it right now."
"So she doesn't know who and what she actually is? my mother asked, looking concerned about Akara.
"I don't know what happened to her, but no one can know that we have her or they will go after her." I told my parents, as they both nodded in agreement. We resumed our dinner in silence, while I could only think of why she would be on the Earth realm and why she did not know who she was.

Akara POV;
I woke up with a pounding headache. I tried to get my eyes open, but it felt very heavy. Once I eventually got them open and got up, I noticed that I was in a bedroom, confused as to how I got here in the first place. I walked around the bedroom, the walls were white with gold trimmings. From the bed on my left was a large window with beige curtains. I saw there was a door which looked like it was walking out towards a balcony. Looking straight from the bed, I saw a door which I had fought leading to the bathroom. I walked over to it but was surprised to see a long walk-in closet but it was empty. I walked out of the walk-in closet back into the bedroom and I saw a door next to the bed. I headed straight for the door and found it was the ensuite bathroom, which looked very beautiful. Everything was white and gold trimmings, with a corner bath, a shower that could fit 3 people. A basic toilet was next to the double basin. I was stunned to realize how big this bathroom actually was and myself craved to run a nice bubble bath for just myself. I stood in the bathroom contemplating if I should do it or not. My thoughts kept running, saying no it is not my place and I can't just do what I want and that I needed to find a way to escape. But I was tried and I just wanted to take a few moments to forget my troubles and my current predicament.
Everything was in the bathroom that I needed except for a pair of clean clothes, but I didn't care at this point. I ran a nice relaxing bubble bath and soaked my aching body in it for a good 2 hours, not thinking of anything. Once I was done, I climbed out of the bath and wrapped myself in a towel when the bathroom door opened and I look up to see Eric looking worried and instantly relieved. We stood there staring at each other for a few seconds before he realized what he was seeing, as his eyes almost popped out of his skull. I screamed at the top of my lungs and he closed the door so fast and hard that I thought that the door would break and fall off its hinges.
I could not believe that that happened to me. I felt embarrassed beyond belief. How am I going to look at him now? Wait, why should I be embarrassed? He is the one that came into the bathroom without knocking first. My embarrassment turned quickly into anger towards him.
I dried myself off and put my clothes back on and went out of the bathroom. I saw him standing by the balcony door waiting. he turned around and walked towards me.
"I sincerely apologize for barging in like that." he said to me, sounding very sincere.
I don't know how but he, being this sincere to me and apologizing, was making my anger towards him go away. I couldn't feel like that, I told myself. So I showed him that I was still angry at him and said to him with anger in my voice that I could barely recognize, "Do not ever do that again". As I said it to him, his eyes went wide with shock and in that second he went back to his casual cool calm look and said "Understood" in a calm voice.
"What do you want?" I asked him, still angry at him.
"I wanted to check up on you, and to tell you that our engagement party will be held in 5 days and, on the night of the blood moon, we will get married, which is the day after the engagement party." he said nonchalantly.
WHAT!
My eyes almost popped out of my head at the shock of hearing that I would be married to him in 6 days! Hell no I am not doing that.
"No." I said to him with no hesitation in my voice.
"You don't have a choice, I told you already," he said calmly.
"NO!" I screamed, not thinking that I could scream so loud.
He grabbed my hands, put them above my head and pushed me against the wall. The strength and how fast he did it shocked me to my core. He looked down at my shocked face and moved so that his lips were next to my ear. Breathing softly against my ear.
"You will do as I say, you do not have a choice in any of this. I am making myself clear?" he said to me in a whisper, but there was so much power coming off of him when he spoke. I froze. I didn't know how to react to what he said. I couldn't move as he was still pinning me to the wall. My fear was back ten times worse and all I could do was cry. Tears were falling down my cheeks and as he saw it I saw something in his eyes, but he let me go and left the room so fast that I didn't see him walk out of the door.
I stood crying as reality hit me hard in the face. I will never leave here. How could I escape when he had that much strength and power and the fact that he could move so fast that I couldn't see him with my own eyes. I thought back on all the movies that I watched and books that I have read that his speed could have been described as the "vampire" speed that people talked about back home or you could compare it to the lighting super hero, the Flash.
I slid down the wall. I put my arms around my knees and lay my head down and just cried till I could no more. My thoughts are running at why and how and thinking if my family on Earth is still fine. Could I marry Eric and live my life here happily if I give in or will I be tormented for the rest of my life here? The hope that I had was now slowly fading...
