We took the key, opened the steel door and hurried in to check it out. ‘I’ll prop the door, so it doesn’t close behind us and keep watch too. You guys see what you can find,’ I said. ‘She was here! They’re the clothes she was wearing when they separated us,’ said Brittney, pointing to the clothes in the corner. ‘There’s a message in the bathroom, written in lipstick on the mirror,’ called Viktor. ‘It says Chernobyl.’ Just then I heard through the now open window in the hallway what sounded like a big speedboat roar into life.
