‘Brittney, are you alright? Can you walk?’ asked Viktor as he made his way down the stairs after the commotion of Tommy’s exit.
‘Yes, I think I can walk, but ballet is out of the question for a while.’
‘Okay, we'd better regroup and get out of here. Tommy could be gone for a while. We’ll call him later and work out where to meet up with him. With all the racket we’ve been making, the police will be here at any moment. I’ll grab the guard from upstairs and bring him with us for questioning in case Tommy doesn’t catch up with Vladimir.’
