Chapter 63
Borys was behind the wheel with Vladimir riding shotgun and Amy in the back seat, bound and gagged with doors locked and hidden behind dark tinted windows. They had spent the night before at Vladimir’s house in Strakholissya on the west bank of the Dnieper River just outside the exclusion zone. Borys had pulled their go-fast boat into their private river port attached to the house. Tired after the attack on their Kiev base and subsequent escape, Vladimir decided that they would spend the night in the house before going to their Chernobyl base early the next morning.
