Date, Dinner and Passion.

2 months have passed, with Garrett picking me up from school and dropping me home.  Spent in my normal classes, at home watching anime, training with Agni and sleeping.  At lunch I sit with Garrett and the other boys, I also befriended the girl I’d met the first day, Chloe she’s in my literature class also, and sometimes our study periods match up. I haven’t received any more texts from Brody, which I don’t intend to encourage. My training with Agni has been steadily improving my combat, both in my human and wolf form, we go head to head most nights and with every improvement I made, Agni makes 2, since that first night, I beat her in a match again.   The bell rang for lunch, so I gathered my stuff heading for the door, Garrett was waiting in the hall, he grabbed my hand, pulling me too him in a big display. We still told each other we were faking it, but I had to admit, I had fallen for the handsome, dark eyed boy before me, a lopsided grin on his face. “My Princess, I your knight, came to escort you to lunch.” He says in a deep thick accent, I can’t suppress a snort of laughter. I push him away, not letting go of his hand, we walk towards the lunch room, grabbing some food and a coffee each from the canteen, we see the boys waving us over. As we sit down, they waggle their eyebrows at us. Mitch, a blond boy in Garrett class, grinned wickedly at us. “Hello lovers, what were you up to in the hallway earlier?” Mitch asked. Garrett raises an eyebrow at his friend, chuckling. “Can’t a knight, have a quiet moment with his princess?” He winks at me. “Haven’t you ever read the fairy tales? The knight never gets the princess.” Mitch retorts, with a smirk. “He already has, in this one.” Counters Garrett, leaning in for a kiss on the cheek, I flush. “Whatever you think Garrett, but you can't keep a princess forever.” Mitch winks at me, I feel like he knows what I am, and suddenly feel uncomfortable. The conversation moves on but Mitch’s comments stay with me, a sinking feeling in my gut, settles for the remainder of the day.   When we pulled up outside my house, I grabbed my bag, turning to open the door when Garrett stops me. “Hey Ivy, Would you like to go to the movies tomorrow? With me?” He asks politely, but I can hear the nerves in his voice. “Oh course I would! Sounds great.” I reply. I hadn’t made any plans for Saturday. He nods, then he looks at her again another question in his lips, so I wait. “I don’t want to be your fake boyfriend anymore.” Says Garrett, as I frown. “Ok but you want to go out tomorrow?” I ask. “Yes, But I want to be your real boyfriend, who’s taking you on a real date, if you'll have me?” Garrett smiles, I suddenly take this in, the hottest guy I’d ever befriended, probably ever met, wants to date me? I blush, I grin ear to ear. “Yes!! Yes I want to be your girlfriend Garrett! Haha” I’m so happy, he grabs the back of my neck and pulls me in for a deep passionate kiss. There is no sparks, it felt like the more loving, claiming kiss, still I loved the feeling. After a long minute we pull apart, I kiss him lightly, before getting out, grinning as I wave goodbye from the doorway. I head inside to tell mum, whilst making myself a coffee, my face hurts by bedtime from grinning.   I wake early, Agni had been so excited when I told her about my date, she said I had her full support, especially since he was a hotty. It's Saturday yay! I could barely sleep all night and was now getting ready. I’ve straightened my hair, sweeping it back into a pony tail, I’ve chosen some blue jeans, a long-back black shirt, and my lace up heeled boots. I look good, I think as I eye myself in the mirror, I grab my phone and handbag on my way out. As head downstairs to the kitchen, I find mum waiting with scrambled eggs on toast. She looks surprised when I walk in. “Good morning mum!” I greet, I’m feeling cheerful and excited for my day ahead. “Good morning Ivy, good to see you so cheerful. You’ve seemed the best version of yourself lately.” She replies, smiling as broadly as me. “I’ve got a date with my boyfriend to the movies.” I state, mum stops and spinning to face me. “A date, a boyfriend and the movies? What have I missed? When did this happen?” Mum asks, she “You know Garrett, he asked me out yesterday, to be his real girlfriend so he could take me on a real date.”  I answer. “Oh Garrett! Good he finally got around his nerves then, haha such a good looking guy too.” Mum chirped, I can tell she’s ecstatic.   ** Knock Knock **   “That must be Garrett! Love you, I’ll should be home at 8pm at the latest, we’re going out for dinner after the movies.” I turn to leave, mum tells me to have fun, and get something to eat on the way.   I open the door, Garrett there waiting, he had got a haircut, its short on the sides and longer on top, he smells of cologne, it smells amazing. “Hey Ivy, You ready to go?” he asks, I nod, lost in thought. I can't stop staring, he offers his arm, I accept it as we walk arms linked to the car. He opens the passenger door for me, as I get in, I think about how special I feel when I’m with Garrett. He hops in the drivers side turning the car on, he lets it idle, turning to me. “You look amazing, those jeans are doing you wonders.” He smirks with a wink, god he is hot. “Thanks Garrett, you don’t look too bad yourself? Got a haircut? You went all out.” I reply, reaching over to run my fingers through his hair. “For you, I always will princess.” He smiles, leaning into my touch, I blush pulling my hand away. He chuckles, as he puts the car into gear, I suddenly felt very sexy in these jeans.   When we arrived at the movies, we decided to watch the an action starring Dwayne (the rock) Johnson, one liners suited him and he was more then capable at taking down the bad guys. Halfway through the movie when we’d finished the popcorn, I lean against Garrett and for the first time, I noticed under his thin T-shirt was some rock hard abs. I’m not usually an abs person but thinking back, I tried to remember what sort of sports he does, especially to keep this fit. I was enjoying his warmth too much to bother asking so I snuggled down as he put his arm around me instead. I  must of fallen asleep because suddenly,  Garrett was shaking her awake, smiling down, I looked at the screen as the credits rolled past. We headed back to the lobby to leave, when suddenly both our heads snapped towards the door to the arcade, there stood Mitch, he must have noticed us looking, waving he jogged over to where we were. Garrett suddenly pulled me into his side, though he didn’t feel tense but he was definitely taking a possessive position.   “Hey lovers! How’s it going?” Mitch is grinning, looking from Garrett to me. “Hey Mitch, We're great, Just got out of the movies and was heading out.” although Garrett sounded calm, there is definitely odd note to his voice. “Oh cool, cool, so was I, I was thinking about grabbing dinner somewhere.” Mitch looks at me, like his expecting me to offer. I look to Garrett, he’s not willing to offer Mitch to accompany us either, good. “Sorry Mitch, but I feel like that’s a bit too '3rd wheel' and I don’t share my dates.” I offer with a shrug, something about Mitch pisses me off. “Oh fair enough, You aren’t all Sugar and Spice, and everything nice are you?” Mitch replies coldly. “Nope, I’m more whiskey and ice, more nasty then nice.”  I reply blandly, Garrett snorts, squeezing my hand. “I’ll have to agree with Ivy, I’m not going to share her tonight either, sorry Mitch. We’ll see you Monday.” Garrett waves back as he leads me out the front to his car.   We went to a new restaurant, called the Mystic's Path. It was a large one room dining area, with at least 50 tables, we sat near the back, the candle in the center of the table cast a beautiful flickering light, It smelled divine like flowers and freeze sea breeze, that went together surprisingly well. The waiter brought them the menu, I decided on a caesar salad whilst Garrett said the 800g Rump steak was calling him, I hoped his eyes weren't bigger than his stomach. When their food arrived, it looked amazing the knock glasses in cheers and began, after I'd had polished off my salad, I wasn't sure I could eat anymore, but suddenly I caught a glimpse of Garrett's steak, he saw me staring and cut a few pieces off it, placing them into my bowl. "Don't worry, I couldn't eat it all, as delicious as it is." He smiles, I know he's lying but he's too damn cute and kind, to call him out on it. When we were too full to eat anymore, we headed out to the car, it was almost 7 o’clock we decided to head home. Pulling up in my driveway, I wasn't ready for the night to end but I know it had too. “I had a fantastic night, thank you Garrett.” I smile, he doesn’t say a word in reply as he leans over, grabbing the back of her head, he claims her mouth with his. I felt overwhelmed at the passion I felt in his kiss, I quickly returned it with aggression, I felt Garrett's spare hand, grabbed my waist pulling me closer. After a long minute, I pulled away and so did he, breathing hard there was desire burning in his eyes and I felt my eyes would mirror the look. “I had an amazing night too, and that just topped it off.” Garrett breathed, all I can do is nod, still breathing hard myself. “Best date ever Garrett.” I reply with a wink. He grins proudly, then gets out walking around to open my car door, I step out, Garrett follows me to the door. I kiss him lightly on the cheek, promising to text him tomorrow and then head inside. I had a wonderful night, when I reach my room, I kick off my shoes and grabbing some clothes, head for a shower. When I come back to my room, I climb into bed, I hear my phone chime, too tired to retrieve it from my bag, But I hope its mum or Garrett. I have a sinking feeling it’s probably not.
