C H A P T E R 13:

Cassandra POV

I know that to make me feel better, my parents send me a lot of money, they think I'll feel better but no I will not. I love money and shopping but that won't change the fact that they don't care about me.

Nandito pa rin kami sa resthouse, buti na lang wala kaming pasok this past few days that's why nag-stay pa kami dito but we need to go back baka mahanap pa nila kami dito and I don't want that to happen. It's my safe place kaya hindi pwedeng malaman ng iba at syaka may kailangan akong icheck sa company.

"Ashley! Hurry, we need to go asap."

"Eto na Mii, tara na?"

"What took you so long?"

"And why are you in a hurry ba?"

"May dumating na mga stocks kaya kailangan kong ma check."

"ohh, then let's go."

While on our way to Manila ay tumunog ang phone ko. I did not look who is the caller and answer immediately.

"Yes, hello?"

~Princess kailan mo balak umuwi?~

"Why?"

~Nothing, do you want me to fetch you?~

"No need, we're on our way but I'm not coming home. I'll stay sa condo for a while."

~Okay princess, take care and call me when you need anything.~

"Okay, thanks kuya. Bye"

Pinatay ko na ang tawag at napatingin kay Ashley dahil ang tahimik nito simula nung sagutin ko ang tawag.

"What happened to you? You're too quiet."

"Nothing, may brain is arguing itself haha."

"Don't think to much Ash, everything will be okay."

Mabilis kaming nakarating sa office ko and Ashley wants to stay, I think wala itong gagawin sa kanila and it's okay para na naman hindi ako ma-bored

but while having our peace, someone broke into my office, someone I didn't expect to see after may short break in tagaytay.

"It is so unpleasant to enter someone's office without knocking right Mr. Ashton?"

"Unpleasant? someone's educating me about being unpleasant but disrespectful with her family for walking away to support her lover."

"Are you done mocking me Mr. Ashton? Get out of my office!"

"I don't like how you talk to our parent Miss Cassandra so please develop your manners."

"And who are you to tell me what to do, My husband? We're just married in papers, so now get out."

"Get ready for your punishment for talking to me like that my wife."

Pagkatapos niyang sabihin iyon ay lumabas na ito ng aking opisina. Kikiligin na sana ako sa pagtawag niya sa akin ng my wife but I can't hindi pwede hindi magtatagal ay kailangan din namin mag divorce, I can't fall inlove with him or I'm doomed.

"What was that Cass? What the hell, he called you wife!"

"Shut up Ashley, someone might hear you."

"So what, totoo namang mag asawa kayo ah."

"Yes but not everyone knows, it's a secret marriage remember?"

"Kahit na, he still called you 'my wife' hahaha kinikilig ako for you miii."

"Sira, alam mo namang napagkasunduan lang ang kasal so after the business flourish I know we need to go on our separate way."

"You're too nega Cass, just enjoy your marriage. Malay mo, he is you forever."

"Hindi yan totoo kasi he draw the line already, walang pakealamanan ng personal na buhay and that's it. How can he 'love me' or how can I love him kung gayong sinabi na niyang huwag pakealaman ang isa't isa."

"Do you love him Cass?"

"Yes, I mean I'm starting to like him. He is masungit but sometimes caring and he's smart that's why I like him a lot."

"Then you should tell him that you like him, malay mo he also likes you. Cass love is a process and it's okay if he rejects you at least you will know what to do after that. Rejection sometimes hurt but it will make you free and it will give you peace."

"Then should I confess to him?"

"Yes, but not today you know after what you did kanina, he might reject you right away hahaha. Pero nextweek is good baka malamig na ulo niya. And you need to freshen up, para kang pinagbagsakan ng langit at lupa but you're still beautiful Miii."

Ilang araw na nga ang nakalipas na hindi ako umuuwi sa bahay naming dalawa and today I decided to go home, and I will try not to anger him because I'm going to confess my feelings towards him.

I'm so confused and scared to death but this confession will give me peace kaya gagawin ko.

It is already 8 in the evening and nandito na ako sa bahay namin and to my surprise Ashton is dressed dashingly, he's walking towards the front door and I can see him because of the glass wall, I just waited outside waiting for him.

Nang makalabas ito ay nagulat itong tumingin sa akin.

"Why are you here, are you waiting for someone to open the door for you?"

"No, I'm just waiting for you nakita lasi kitang palabas kaya hinintay nalang kita dito sa labas. May pupuntahan ka bang business meeting, I have something to tell you if you're not busy."

"I have a personal emergency today, I'm busy that's why tell me some other time your thoughts. I need to go, manang is inside ask her to cook for you, I'll be eating outside."

"But I need to tell you something important."

"Put that aside, I'm going somewhere more important." Turan nito bago pumasok sa kanyang sasakyan.

This is hopeless, ano pang mas importante bukod sa trabaho niya?

This confession is making me crazy, I need to let it out or I might get crazy.

Habang nag iisip na pwede kong gawin ay tumunog ang cellphone ko and it is Ashley.

"Yes Ash, what happened?"

~Tara bar, Isasama ko iba nating friends.~

"Sure, message me the details, I'll come right away."

~Wow pumayag agad agad, what happened to you?~

"Nothing, bye!"

~Wait...~

Hindi ko na pinatapos ang sasabihin ni Ashley, I ended the call right away because I know she will ask me at hindi siya matatapos magtanong hangga't walang nakukuhang sagot.

Agad agad naman akong nagbihis at dumiretso sa sasakyan ko pero nakita ako ni manang kaya tinanong ako kung saan ako pupunta.

"Saan ka pupunta miss Cassandra? Gabi na po baka hanapin kayo ni Sir pag uwi niya."

"Lalabas ako manang, magkikita kami ng mga kaibigan ko."

"Mag iingat ka po miss Cassandra."

"Sige manang matulog na po kayo pagkatapos niyong ilang ang gate, salamat po."

Wala pang 30 minutes ay nakarating na ako sa bar na tinutukoy ni Ashley. Pagkaupo ko sa tabi ni Ash ay wala itong sinayang na oras.

"So tell me bakit ang bilis mong pumayag na mag bar."

"Kasi hindi ko pa nasabi kay Ashton ang nararamdaman ko dahil mas pinili niyang puntahan iyong sinasabi niyang mas importante pa kaysa sa sasabihin ko."

"Are you jealous Cass? Hahaha"

"Shut up Ash, hindi bakit sana ako magseselos eh wala namang kami."

"Anong walang kayo eh mag asawa nga kayo."

Nagbubulungan kami ni Ashley dahil baka may makarinig sa amin, wala nang makakarinig sa amin dahil sa lakas ng music but better be safe than sorry.

Wala pa nang alas dose ng madaling araw ay lasing na ang mga kasama namin. Ashley is good kasi malakas ang kanyang liquor tolerance kaya sa aming lahat ay kaming dalawa ang gising na gising. I drunk a few margarita at nag uumpisa ng umikot ang paningin ko buti nalang may order silang refresher kaya nabawasan ang kalasingan ko.

"Cass let's go dance." Hindi ako nito hinayaang umangal ay hinila ako nito sa gitna ng dance floor. I'm a dancer kaya wala akong dapat ikahiya hinayaan kong dumaloy sa aking katawan ang tugtog ng musika. Evryone is watching me dahil nagmistulang talent show ang dancefloor and every guys in the dancefloor is approaching me swaying and trying to seduce me.

I'm enjoying when someone grab me and drag me outside the bar.
