He leaned forward and placed his hands on the table."i love her Rose" he spoke his truth . He really loved Cyan more than anything .

"love her ....all of the sudden you fall in love Aidden....?

Are you sure its even love and not just one of those flings you have with other girls?"

she knew him all too well and his actions , the idea of him being in love could shock even the dead according to her .

"Its not a fling Rose ...i love Cyan, its not something i can get over or ignore...i admit that I've been playing with other girls but am serious with her ..."How could he explain to Rose that he had already established a bond with Cyan she could never understand ..he knew her and she knew him .. what he felt was deeper than he could ever explain. Aidden never thought he could feel this way for any girl ever and Rose was a witness to the way he was in relationships with other girls ..they had known each for a while so her questions where understandable. But he was not that guy anymore .

"How do you expect me to believe that ..you know i care about you , you are my friend , but Cyan is my best friend and am not going to let you break her heart."

"i wont ...that's why i want to live with me.."

"is it because of the people after her?"

Aidden raised his head and looked at her , he had questions , did Cyan tell her the truth about her ..

"she told you?? ...."

he asked her .

"yes she ...told me about them ..i don't understand why she hid that from me in the first place .."

Aidden was surprised to learn that Cyan told Rose the truth "it was for your own safety....i saw those Vam-"

"I know that but still ...if her dad owed money to a gang before he died ...you and i would have helped pay it back right?"

'money ..gang?., her dad? ' he was confused at first but he realised that Cyan did not tell her the truth after all , and to think he was going to do so if she had not cut his sentence just now, ...he understood he needed to be careful with his words , it almost slipped out of his mouth,

"Hhhmmh"

he nodded his head in agreement ....

" you understand why its safer for her to stay here than out there right?....no one knows this place except for the people present in this house"Rose had to admit that he was right, she would be safer here than at there apartment , and even though she did not want to let her friend stay she knew it was for the best."Ill take care of everything....don't worry about that and i wont break her heart either ...she's the best thing that has ever happened to me"

he added. "i hope so Aidden" Rose said. The two left the office after reaching an understanding.

when they arrived in the living area , the air around David and Cyan was tense there was a silence between them that could slice through iron. It was as if they walked in the middle of a fight that was ready to explode.

Aidden knew this was coming from Cyan he had felt it before when she was fighting those monsters . He wondered what happened between the two when they left.

he noticed Cyan had a bottle of wine in her hand. She stood up and walked to were they stood, he took the bottle from her and looked at it . It was almost half empty he wanted to ask what happened but Rose spoke first.

"you guys are drinking so early" breaking the ice.

"just welcoming Cyan back"

David said.Rose turned her attention to Cyan and pulled her from Aidden's side .

"Aidden wins ...he gets to stay with you"

She said, the sadness could be heard in her voice.Cyan pulled her friend for a hug and hugged her tightly. David and Aidden got jealous the way the two of them were holding each other.to David seeing Rose in Cyan's arms felt like she was taking her away from him.

and Aidden felt like he could not compete with Cyan's love for Rose.

"why don't you stay here too Rose"

Aidden suggested, Cyan would be sad being away from her and even though it would mean less competition for him , he did not want Cyan to be sad."Can she ??" Cyan asked Looking at Aidden.

Everyone including her turned their heads and looked at David waiting for his response .David did not know what to say, he never thought of living with Rose so soon even though they had been together for eights months already , living together was a huge change . He never stayed with a girl before. he never thought of this.

"no its okay ill come visit you almost everyday...so you wont miss me okay?"

Rose said when she noticed David's silence even though deep down she would be happy to live with all of them under the same roof.

"stay here Rose"

David finally opened his mouth and spoke.

if Cyan was going to stay here then he wanted his Rose near him , David understood how soft hearted she was and that she would like staying here too .

"i don't think its a good idea" Rose spoke softly in a low tone. "I think its a good idea ...that way you can keep a close eye on me right?"

Aidden said.

it was logical so she agreed and it made Cyan smile her brightest smile , she was about to hug Rose again when Aidden pulled her to his arms."she needs to eat first " he spoke .

David also walked over to them and pulled Rose in his arms and kissed her on her cheek ."lets go get your clothes at your apartment"

He said.

Cyan and Rose looked at each other surprised by the actions of these men , they were acting possessive against their friendship and and it was funny ..

David and Rose left the house, Cyan and Aidden walked over to the kitchen.

the food was on the large island.

"eat..." he gestured her to open her mouth and she shyly ate it.Aidden needed to go to work. So after they ate. he left.Cyan decided to take the opportunity to practice her spell. She headed to the back of the house and at the edge far where the tree woods started ...she knelt down .

Feeling the grass in her hands , she closed her eyes trying to concentrate on her inner energy.
