strange encounters p-32

David was impatient and attacked Aidden, throwing a strong punch at his face which grazed him by his jaw, Aidden dogged the punch by swaying to the left however David was quick and threw another one aiming at his lower abdomen. Aidden stepped backwards as David kept his attacks fast coming at him like an angry animal, not giving him a chance to fight back. All Aidden could do was avoid the attacks , he however did it gracefully making it look effortless. He and David had sparred so many times they knew each others movements very well.Aidden had enough of David and decided to retaliate, David threw a kick at Aidden towards his chest, Aidden used that opportunity to throw him off balance and punched him on his cheek.

David also returned the favour by punching him on his jaw."whats wrong David...can't keep up?"David was in a bad mood already and the way Aidden was tauting him now was making him more mad

Aidden was mocking him, he could feel the force and the aggressiveness in David's movements.He did not not mind, it only encouraged, he on the other hand was not giving it his all. he always saved his strength till his opponent starts to get tired. While he saves up his strength

this was his tactic, defending and attacking at last .David did not respond, he was not the type that did word play, while Aidden liked tauting his opponents , David liked to do the talking once the opponent was down.

he rolled up his sleeves and attacked Aidden once more.

The two continued fighting under the dark sky exchanging hits back and fourth till they both got tired of bruising each other's faces, blood flowed from the corner of David's mouth while Aidden got a black swollen eye, only a fight between them could leave them this weak."one day ..you wont be so lucky,"David spoke pointing at Aidden's eyes while they walked back into the house."just go and fix your internal bleeding fool"

Aidden replied.David headed up the stairs to his room while Aidden headed to the fridge to get some ice for his eye, he did not want Cyan to see him with a bruised face when she woke up.

Both of them where doctors so Aidden knew David would take care of himself in his room. After he made sure to treating his eyes , he also went to his room.

when he opened the door and walked in his face turned darker because of what he saw,

Rose was sleeping next to Cyan while she cuddled a pillow, the bed was big and there was enough room for the two of them to fit. Cyan slept on one side while Rose slept on the other, still Aidden disliked seeing his Cyan in bed with another person despite the distance between them.

he walked over to her, she was still sleeping the way he left her, how much energy did she drain for her to sleep so deeply he wondered.Aidden reached for his phone and texted David a picture of the girls sleeping soundly.

"come get your woman"

it did not even take 2minutes for David to come.he opened the door and entered being greeted by the scene on the picture he had received. he walked straight to the side where Rose was and picked her up gently in his arms, She did not wake up from the movements she just moved her eyes brows a little before sleeping again.

After she was in his arms, he left Aidden's room and brought her to his.

when they left, Aidden went to take a shower and cleaned up before coming back to bed , he lay next to her spooning her and kissed her forehead goodnight.

Aidden could not fall asleep, his brain was busy showering with a million thoughts, how will they be able to overcome the challenges that are ahead of the two of them, how could he fight supernatural beings in order to protect the woman he loves.he wanted to keep her safe and in his arms for all times, how will he able to do that, his power and his influence did not hold to vampires who where as strong as animals.His life and his heart all lay with this girl next to him and the thought of her being away made his soul shake, what did he need to do in order to keep them from finding her. There has to be something, there has to be an answer somewhere, there has to be someone who knows something and he would do everything in his powers to find it.

:::It was snowing heavily and the entire premises was covered in white sheets of snow, the trees where dry with no leaves on them, Raven birds sat on there dry branches watching her from below, She was coming from the woods running to this house being chased by shadows, her feet got caught up in the vintage black long dress and fell to the ground falling, her entire body feeling the coldness on the ground, she looked back and saw the darkness spreading following her and the shadows getting closer, she picked herself up and dragged her body towards the entrance of the house. When she reached the huge door, it opened by its self and when it did blood flowed from the house to to her feet, she halted upon seeing it, it ran like a stream, she decided to enter the house and the first thing she saw was Rose covered in blood with her throat cut as blood splashed from it her dead body laying on the carpet, her stomach turned and her heartbeats rang in fear, she ran towards her when her body froze seeing Aidden sleeping in a pool of his own blood. His lifeless body was covered in a lot of knife cuts, she felt her energy leave her body and her knees weakened dropping her to the ground, she screamed her lungs out crying a heart breaking sound her heart and her soul died breaking in a thousand pieces:::

Cyan opened her eyes with her heart beating loudly in her chest she could hear it in her ears, fear grew in her heart as she looked at the surrounding, she realised she was sleeping in Aidden's room , in his bed, she turned around and saw his face resting peacefully on the pillow. Her heavy heart finally breathed, but the dream she had still scared and shook her to the core, the image of Aidden laying in a pool of blood was the most terrifying thing she had ever seen, seeing him and Rose dead in that dream made her entire body tremble in fear it felt so real her eyes started to get teary just by the thought of it, with her hands shaking she tried to shake the man sleeping next to her, Cyan just wanted to see him awake and with his eyes open, she hesitantly reached for his face and pushed the hairs that feel on his face immediately he opened his eyes and looked at her,

Tears fell silently when she saw him look at her, he was okay , he was not in that dream , Aidden was okay. She did not wait for him to say anything and threw herself in his arms holding him tightly tears continued to flow from her eyes nonstop. Her body was still trembling unable to calm down.

"..Cyan.......whats wrong?"

Aidden spoke softly slowly stroking her head and holding her back, he could feel how much her body was shaking, when he woke up , the first thing he saw was her in tears looking so broken he frowned , Cyan never acts like this, she never acts so fragile and she is never this vulnerable so what happened, what made her be so scared and cry like this.

"Whats wrong ...tell me...ill listen"

he spoke holding onto her body tightly .

"i....i...i.am. scared ..Aidden ...am scared .....they-"

She did not continue her sentence more tears poured out of her. It was like a fountain had been broken and all it could do was let water out.

"Why are you scared....what happened??"

he was gentle in his words talking slowly comforting her. Even though deep down he was on the verge of going mad, he wanted to hurt whoever hurt her and made her cry so much.

"I ...saw you, i saw you in my dream ...they hurt you....they.....they-".Cyan could not even bring herself to say the rest, it was too horrifying to even speak of, never had she ever had such a dream that made her react like this.

Aidden took a deep breath when he heard her mention it was a dream, Cyan fought with monsters and demons and still remained brave but a dream could shakeher and scare her like this , He kissed her hair and spoke to her

"did you have a nightmare?"

she shook her head in his chest , disagreeing to his words.

"it wasn't a nightmare Aidden.....it ....it felt so real...i saw the blood from the door and you and Rose ...i saw everything"

She mumbled over her words trying to explain."don't cry.....it's just a dream...am right here with you, nothing happened to me or to Rose, am here Cyan ....its just a dream , its not real"

he was patient with her she was this scared because she dreamt that something bad happened to him, even though this was a bad moment his heart still grew exited , this meant that she loved him too

and that she was also scared to loosing him he knew sooner or later she would confess her love for him. His wild girl was a softy when it came to him. They where each other's weakness .

"no no......Aidden you don't understand it was real"

she said pulling her self up and looking at him, he saw her eyes where still shedding tears. He did not like seeing her like that.

he used his thumb to wipe her tears away and pulled her chin up.he lowered his face and kissed her lips. he knew that his kisses would calm her down. She was still shaking at first but her body slowly calmed down in his arms,

he pulled away and held her face with his hand caressing her cheek.

"its just a dream , am here with you ..hhmmh don't cry now."

"but Aidden-" Cyan wanted to say more when she looked at Aidden closely and noticed that he had a bruise around his eye. It was not that noticeable she did not pay attention to it earlier."what happened to you...why do you have bruises on your eye"

she was starting to panic again.

Aidden did not want her to worry anymore she already cried so much so early in the morning."its nothing....don't worry about it okay"

How could she not worry when he looked like that."tell me Aidden what happened"She asked again.

he decided to tell her.

"its nothing ..David and i had a fight outside nothing serious"the moment he said that he felt the cold air around them start to rise, this was something he was beginning to understand, it meant that she was mad. was she mad because he said he fought with David.Aidden knew Cyan's interaction was David was never friendly, she hit him last time just because he had made Rose upset and now that Aidden mentioned he had a fight with him her aura changed to cold.

he felt he should explain more before she rushed to David's room and attacked him again."We fight sometimes just to ease some steam"she blinked at him looking confused by what he said,

He ruffled her hair and continued.

",...we spar ...you know ..when friends fight just for fun"

Cyan was confused by what this man was saying, what kind of people fight for fun. Friends don't fight.

"Like practice or training?"she asked with her head tilted one side.

"yes like practice fighting....we have been in fighting class since we where in highschool."Aidden smiled

"since highschool?"

she repeated his words in a question.

"yes since highschool , we fight like that"

he answered.

"you must have had a terrible person to teach you "

she spoke.

"why do you say that?"

Aiddden asked curiously.

"because both of you have a poor fighting skills"

Aidden: " _ " ......

How could she say that with a straight face does she know that they where the best in their class of martial arts.

"you don't think I'm good at fighting , go and check David's face ....i made his mouth bleed and his face is red" he said smiling in confidence.

"you received seven punches, four were weak and three where powerful the one on your eye was David's strongest punch , am guessing..you must have done something to trigger his rage, your body seems fine so that means you are really good at defence.

Your knuckles are redder than any part of you so i guess you waited for him to tire out and attack him. You keep your strength last and if that works on David then change your tactics ....he knows your moves by now...try using his methods against him, David uses his left hands so that means he is lighter on his left side of his body than his right, target that side of his body next time."

Aidden: "_" ...

He was left speechless, how did she know so much in just a few minutes of looking at him , she was able to give a full report on his entire life of fighting that is something no one could ever know. She was surprising him by the day. Aidden was not only stunned but also impressed.

"how do you know so much....are you using your magic?"he asked.

" no sir....i don't need magic to read body language, I've been in a lot of fights to know my way around things like this"

Cyan smiled at him.

he was glad to see her smiling again, her silver grey eyes where no longer covered in tears. This is what he wanted to wake up to every morning, seeing her smiling and not crying.he smiled brightly held her cheeks and kissed her lips deeply.
