strange encounters p-31

Cyan did not realise she had been crying , was this why Aidden looked worried.

She wiped her eyes and looked down feeling embarrassed.

"Its nothing serious ...i .....i got the information on how to do the spell...let me go find the things i need to use-"

Cyan got up but she did not have a lot of energy and wabbled a little trying gain some balance.Aidden got just in time to catch her from falling and pulled her closer to him."its late ..you have been out here for hours , you can do that tomorrow"

Cyan was about to insist on doing the spell however she knew that casting a spell in her weak state would be useless, she needed a lot of energy for that.

"Aidden, what if they come...what if i cant ever find a way to fight them"

her lips where trembling as she said those words, a simple spell like this could take so much energy from her . Cyan wondered what it would take to fight all of them.

"you are not alone in this no matter what ill do anything to protect you , this isn't just your fight Cyan am here with you okay?"

He was giving her assurance and she needed that. seeing her grandmother gave her hope and as long as Aidden was by her side she would face her fears without holding back.Cyan pulled tiptoed and kissed him Aidden responded to her kiss deeply. everytime she was close to him all he wanted was to make love to her , she had an effect on him he could not control."lets go back inside.."he said, if he did not stop them then he would have made love to her right there. She agreed, he picked her up and carried her in his arms. She rested her head on his chest and he walked back to the house. There was a small distance back to the house.Rose and David where already back by the time he reached the house,

they sat on the stools that surrounded the kitchen island. Cyan fell asleep on their way back. It seemed she was tired.

"What happened to her , is she sick?"

David asked when he saw Aidden carrying Cyan into the house,Rose got up and walked to them asking the same question.

"no ..she is just tired ...ill take her to bed "

he said and went straight up the stairs.

Aidden lay Cyan on the and covered her with a blanket . She looked beautiful and alluring even in her sleep ..he could never get tired of watching her.

Rose was slowly eating her dinner next to David, earlier she went to pack some of her clothes and moved into this house but something was bothering her, she did not tell her parents that she would be moving in with her boyfriend, Rose was a 23 year old independent woman and was perfectly capable of taking care of her self , she moved out of her parent's house at 20 years of age but she was very close to them. Her parents were strict, the idea of their daughter living with a man she was not married to would surely make them upset and worry, her mind was trying to decide how she would tell them.

"is something bothering you"

David asked,

He noticed she seemed a little off since earlier, Rose had a bubbly personality, once she was quiet it was easy to tell that something was wrong.

"Nothing important"

she answered him in a low voice.

David knew her too well, he stopped eating

got up and pulled her from the chair.

"You can tell me ...."Rose was quiet for a few seconds before deciding to talk.

"i was just thinking that its time you meet my parents , you and i have already decided to live together ...i want you guys to know each other, they might get upset if they find out i live with someone am not married too"

David was not expecting her to say this, being in an serious relationship was different than just hooking up with someone, everything was happening at once and he did not know how to process things , he had never met a girl's parents before and even though he loved Rose. Meeting her parents was something he was not ready for , at least not right now.

"Rose i don't think its necessary to meet them right now , you are not young , they should understand we live in modern times and that its common for people to live together"

"What do you mean...we have been together for a long time now ....why don't you want to meet them David"

"I do want to meet them but not now"

how could he explain it to her that he was terrified of meeting her parents this was not his area of expertise, he was used to handling his patients and his business.

Rose was starting to get upset, she wondered why he could not just let her introduce him to her parents, just meeting them not asking him to live with them, what was so hard about that.

"are you ever going to introduce me to your parents, ?"

this question held a lot of meaning.

she was questioning there future together. Whether he saw a future with her or not, whether he saw their relationship past dating alone. Rose looked at him but he did not answer. His silence made her even more sad, she did not know if the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with also felt the same.his silence however indicated hesitation, she knew that marriage was not going to be anytime soon even though she wouldn't mind if it was but Rose wanted to feel secure in her relationship, she wanted to know that they could grow together and that there was never any room for other people or heartbreaks .

after sometime when he did not say anything , Rose excused herself..

"excuse me Mr David"

she stood up and was about to leave the kitchen island when Aidden walked to them."Aidden can i sleep with Cyan tonight"

Aidden looked Rose then looked at David, he understood they were having a serious talk or perhaps an argument when he walked in, he could tell by the mood Rose was in she seemed serious and sad.

but he did not like the question she asked him.how could he let someone else sleep next to Cyan, even if that person was her best friend, how was he going to cuddle with her and kiss her at night if he couldn't even be in the same room with her, he did not like the idea of Rose sleeping next to her at all, he already saw her as his rival when it came to Cyan's attention.

Rose did not wait for Aidden to answer and walked up towards the stairs. She knew David would understand her not wanting to share a room with him tonight , she was upset, she could have chosen to stay in another room but she wanted to see her friend, during the times they lived together Rose would sleep in Cyan's room and the two would talk for hours she missed that. So she went up the staircase.

David did not want her to sleep in another room, he wanted to tell her that he did want her to meet his family and that he did want to be with her forever but he was not the best when it came to communicating his feelings, he just wanted to not feel nervous when it came to her his silence caused a huge misunderstanding between them. And he did not like it.

"David ....why are you letting her sleep with Cyan in my room....where am i supposed to sleep."

Aidden asked him.

"sleep on the couch"

David answered lazily.

"Go get your girlfriend .....Cyan likes sleeping next to me"

He could not afford to miss Cyan's warmth even for one night. He was addicted to her like a cat and catnip and he knew David felt the same towards Rose so why would he let her sleep in another room.

"why are you so jealous ...they are close to each other let them be"

David did not want to argue any further.

Aidden went around the counter and poured a drink for himself.

"Am not being jealous....fool, you are stupid that's why Rose loves Cyan more than you"

David frowned when he heard Aidden's words he turned around and looked at him.

"Rose does not love Cyan more than me....i am her man she loves me more than anyone i know it"

Aidden knew he struck a nerve, David was just as jealous as he was when it came to his woman."oh really ...who was she arguing to live with??...and where is she right now???"

"Don't be an i***t, ...she is only with Cyan cause i made her sad.....she asked me to see her parents and i did not agree with her"

He said while pouring a drink for himself too.

"why not.."Aidden asked

"I don't know if its the right time yet ...I've never done this before"

Aidden chuckled at his friend.

"are you scared of meeting her parents ....are you scared they wont like you??"

he teased him."shut up if you don't have anything better to say"

"David ...Rose is more important to you ..more important than anything and nothing should hold you back when it comes to her ....if you do , someone else will take over without holding back"

Aidden knew that when it comes to love nothing should hold you back from the one you want. He leant that from his feelings for Cyan. If he had held himself back and let her go then he wouldn't be with her today.

but he went ahead knowing the dangers and the warnings he went for what his heart wanted. Without any knowledge of the life she has he still chose to go for her , he knew she was all he wanted from that first kiss till today he chose to trust the unknown.But David was lucky, Rose was just a simple girl all she had were parents and siblings. Cyan did not know if she had siblings or not he did not know if he would ever get to meet her parents if they even exist. The only thing he knew was that there were people who did her a great injustice and wanted to use her.he however wanted to love her and show her a life she never thought she could ever have,

"since when do you give advice of love?"

David's question carried mockery. He however understood what he had to do.

but still wondered in his head, since when did Aidden learn about love , he has only been with Cyan for not more than a week so why the sudden change. He questioned what happened between the two of them ever since that night on Rose's birthday.

Aidden did not answer him and walked towards the door.

"were are you going?"

David asked.

"You talk too much David ..how about i break your face , maybe Rose will feel pity for you and decide to forgive you.

"ill break your nose face i***t"

David got up and followed him outside, they where going to fight.this was something they did sometimes for entertainment. They would spar with each other since highschool and took fighting classes since childhood , they usually fought to blow off steam or to solve a misunderstanding.

They arrived at the front lawn of the house.

"Are you sure you want trouble Aidden??"

David said with a smile playing on his lips.

"i told you, you talk to much, ill make sure you keep your mouth shut for a long period of time"

he folded the sleeves of his black shirt as he said those words.

both men where build strongly even though Aidden was taller than David by an inch. They where both equally powerful and good fighters. Even though Cyan managed to Attack them that night .it was not a fair fight, she was a vampire, werewolf and a witch all in one

no normal human would ever stand a chance against her, not even these two.

Aidden realised that she barely used half of her strength that day she attacked them she held herself back a lot.

But still no ordinary human could fight against any of these two men either .
