Cyan stood on the doors of one of the upstairs bedroom, she could feel Rose's presence was inside , this must be David's room.She breathed deeply before knocking

Rose didn't know anything about her and Aidden's relations .Cyan continued knocking but Rose didn't open the door.

She opened it slowly and walked inside .

She saw her friend's figures standing there by the French windows. she Didn't know how to start the conversation but she really wanted to explain everything to her everything about her and Aidden.

" it's a beautiful view isn't it?",

Rose didn't turn around she gripped the railing tightly when she heard her voice, when she saw Aidden and Cyan kissing intimately she felt that her friend hid something important from her, she knew something had happened between them on the night of her birthday but what she saw she never expected , the two of them had gotten to know each other so fast and Cyan never told her anything ..Rose never asked about her personal life and her back ground but she always thought Cyan would at least tell her about something like this and not keep it away from her.Cyan stood next to her looking at her as the wind blew her brown wavy hair behind her . The expression on her face was unfathomable the emotions in her heart where racing at the unknown.

"Aidden and I met a month before your birthday ...i didn't talk to him then ..until the day i attacked David.... that's when i learnt that they where friends ..i did not like him at first but it seems like fate wanted us to meet for a reason , i met him once and i guess we both felt something towards each other .. on the night of your birthday, on the balcony..... we kissed .".

Rose turned her head and looked at her upon hearing her words she didn't know that they met before that night.

" after we kissed i got scared and ran away from that hotel , Aidden followed me into the night, we where attacked by some people that were after me .......we managed to escape ..that's why i left, ... because i got scared i might put your life in danger by staying here any longer ..i did not want something bad to happen to you because of me , you where the first human i ever cared for and now Aidden too , "

"Human??" Rose asked her , noticing the way she used the word ."i mean friend ..you are the first person i made friends with in a long time , you were good to me so i..i just wanted to keep you safe "her voice slowed down and became quieter she really didn't know how to explain things to her and she was not going to tell her the entire truth .

"who attacked you and why were they after you "Rose didn't know so much had happened on the night of her birthday while her and David where in the hotel.

"some people my father owed money and when he died they wanted me to pay the debt no matter what"she lied to her friend , deep within her soul it broke her , if only she could tell her the truth if only she could open up to her one and only friend about who she really was . "are they the people you were running away that night we met?"Rose asked once more and Cyan nodded her head in agreement ."so he knows about them?""Yes ..i explained it to him"she did explain things to Aidden only difference is she told him the truth , well half of it too."and he came after you to find you?"Rose knew Aidden very well so thefact that he went to find Cyan only meantthat he liked her or maybe it was more thajust likeness "yes he did ..and we-"

You guys are together now " Her friend's eyes were enough to give her the answer she was looking for although she couldn't wrap her head around the two of them being together , the reason why she never set Aidden up with Cyan was because she knew he was the kind of guy who never did any serious relationships so she had some reservations about the two being together if Cyan allowed herself to fall in love then she knew that the possibility of Aidden hurting her was very high. She hoped she was wrong ." are you sure about him ...i mean are you sure about his feelings foryou ..and do you feel the same way?"

Cyan didn't understand her friends question but knowing Rose she was probably looking out for her ."yes...i think i have feelings for him too "Cyan finally admitted the words out loud and it felt nice.

"am sorry i did not mean to hide anything from you ..especially about Aidden i was going to come find you just now"Her words were honest and sincere as ever even though she couldn't tell Rose the entire truth, Cyan was deeply sorry for that it was moments like this that she hated who she was , lying to people she cared about ."Yeah right! you where going to find me after you two finished abusing that poor couch"

she joked in response while rolling her eyes.

"no no no not at all"

Cyan answered while blushing thinking of Aidden , now she no longer saw him as a rich spoiled man, now she saw him as her man. The man that made her blush just by thinking of him.

Rose couldn't stay mad at her friend not after hearing her explanation. And now she understood everything she breathed deeply exhaling the anger out of her system .

"are you happy with him"

she asked tugging at Cyan sleeves .she looked at it and then did she notice that it was Aidden's shirt her friend wore.

"i think this is what happiness feels like ".Cyan answered as she looked through the window and into the mountains from afar . thinking about the words herself , was she happy? she was more than happy , the feelings Aidden awakened in her where beyond what she ever felt. She smiled whole heatedly .

Rose looked at how bright Cyan's smile was the moment she asked her about her and Aidden , there was a light in her eyes , one she had never seen before Cyan's eyes had always been dim before as if she saw no joy in life but now stars could be seen , she wondered if that's how she looked when she spoke about David "well am happy if you are happy ...just don't run away like that on us ..am sure Aidden will help me tying you here".she knew that Aidden would take care of those after her friend and that Cyan will never have to leave again.She nodded and pulled her best friend in for a hug , and the two girls embraced each other , it felt right everything at this moment felt right in her life ,the feeling of wanting to be free grew in the heart , one day she hoped her life would change.

downstairs.

the two men sat opposite each other on the luxury furniture .Aidden had a glass of water swirling it in his hand while David had a pen he kept on pressing the end opening and closing it.David didn't know why but he felt something different about Aidden , he was not the same as he was when he left for country G. like he was enveloped in something. still he chose not to say anything he already understood his friend's personality once he sets his mind to something he always gets it, he was stubborn but so was he.

"Cyan will be staying here from now on "

Aidden broke the silence, he wanted to make it clear that if David had a problem with her then he just had to deal with it, he crossed his legs and leaned in his couch.

"i see " David simply raised his eyebrows , he already saw this coming , "you two sure seem very close....i guess its only logical that you live together"his words were filled with sarcasm. How can Aidden go from meeting this girl , flying to another country just to find her, and now wanting to live with her , all this was happening way too fast, he knew his friend was keeping something from him, there was definitely more to the two of them and he was going to find out what it was .

"live together... why ???"

Rose who was descending the stairs with Cyan following behind her she overheard the conversation between the two men .

She looked at Aidden before turning her head at Cyan asking if what she heard was true...
