Aidden looked at her calmly he wanted to ask more questions about Cyan , he wanted to know about her , about the type of person she was , her likes and dislikes, Were she grew up. Were she attended school , whether she had a boyfriend or not the more he sat there looking at her the more curious he became of her.the waiter came with a cake that was lit with candles and placed it on there table for Rose.

Everyone turned there attention to Rose as they wished her happy birthday, "Ill make a wish first "

she said closing her eyes and after opening them she blew off the candles on her cake .

"what did you wish for ".

David asked her as he helped her cut the cake into pieces.

Rose simply smiled at him and said

"if i tell you then it wont come true"

she didn't tell him but knowing Rose, David guessed it was probably something for someone else and not something for herself

he knew her very well .

he sighed and took the cake from her hand and fed it to her, Rose happily ate it.Rose noticed that Cyan wasn't eating the piece of cake that was given to her and before anyone could ask Cyan why she wasn't eating again, she picked up a small piece with her fork and brought it to her friends lips gesturing her with her eyes to eat it, she knew Cyan always ate so little around her and being around strangers was probably worse.she didn't notice how jealous David looked at her because of her actions, his girlfriend who was feeding Cyan cake so intimately even though he knew they were friends he didn't like the attention Rose was giving to Cyan .

Cyan simply smiled and opened her mouth but before she could eat it, she noticed David's cold eyes on her so she took the fork from Rose's hand and ate it herself. the cake was too sweet for her she had to drink some water she couldn't stand sweets but she had to pretend to like it

"its ...delicious " she lied . it was her first time eating a cake and though she had tasted sweets before she hated them she didn't understand how people could like and find such things tasty .

"thanks to David he knows how much i like chocolate cake" Rose said, she smiled sweetly at David who was satisfied by her praises and proceeded to kissing her Rose instantly blushed

Aidden knew Cyan was lying he saw how rapidly she drank her water after eating that tiny piece of cake and he wondered if she like chocolate or not strange cause a lot of girls do ,he decided to tease her for that cause he wanted her to talk more " you like chocolates,Cyan ...here have my piece as well" he said while giving her his plate and a smirk

"no thanks Aidden but ..this is enough for me " she responded nicely to him ,as she looked at him she noticed the smile on his face and she knew Aidden was teasing her she didn't understand him he wasn't easy to read like David

Aidden was too complex for her

there was something about him that she didn't really understand ,but she wasn't going to think about it anymore cause after tonight she would be leaving and she wasn't going to see him again

'thank heavens am in a good mood right now ...otherwise ..if these men weren't close to Rose ..they'd be dead by now' Cyan smiled at the thought ' Aidden felt the sarcasm in her polite words and he was amused he wanted to tease her even more but before he could , he was interrupted by David who asked Cyan a question that he was also eagerly waiting for an answer from he tensed up with anticipation, he felt anxious throughout his body while waiting for her to reply ."is your boyfriend busy tonight ....Cyan " was the question David asked her , he did that cause he wanted to see the look on Aidden's face the moment she said she had a boyfriend, he saw Aidden freeze for a second and he smiled at him sarcastically.

"No i don't have a boyfriend " Cyan responded in a questioning tone she didn't understand why David would assume that she did .David was a little stunned by her answer even though he didn't like Cyan he could agree that she was beautiful but he thought she was a savage and no guy would want to be with a girl who casually fought with guys except for his crazy best friend Aidden.the more he thought of how different Cyan was from Rose he simply appreciated howdelicate Rose's personality was." then do you have a girlfriend ...are you into girls " he asked still looking at his friend , he thought it would be funny if the girl his friend liked wasn't into guys at all.But if she was into girls ,he wondered if she liked his Rose and the moment he thought of that, the smile on his face faded he looked at her also waiting for her to answer .

" no i don't have a girlfriend ..and am not into girls ..i don't date "

she answered truthfully , growing up she was able to tell if a man was attractive or not she always found some that she thought were good looking especially those celebrities but not once did she ever date ..her life didn't allow such.she knew getting close to a guy would be a dangerous thing to do so she never paid any attention to that ,it was only when she met Aidden that she had an impulse to kiss him. it wasn't her first kiss but it was her first real one .
