KAYLEE immediately smile when the door opens. She saw the shock look on Grayson’s face as soon as he saw her. He is now finally discharged from the hospital and advised by the doctors to continue to rest at home. “What are you doing here?” he asked. She shrugged her shoulder’s a bit. “To help you.” Grayson look at his manager. “Do you have anything to do about this?” “It’s my idea, Grayson. I asked Ace and your Mom if I can stay here with you. Aside from you need to rest, I’m here to help you remember me.”      “Uh, I’ll leave you two for a while,” Ace said and went out.      Grayson sat at the sofa and looked at her luggage.      “I know, I remember I asked you that. But still…”      “Why? Are you uncomfortable when I’m around?”      He just sighed and didn’t answer.      “I’ll take that as a yes,” Kaylee said.      “Look, I didn’t mean it in a bad way, but—”      Kaylee laughed a bit. “It’s okay. I understand. As of this moment, you still see me as a stranger. But I can’t leave you alone here. You need someone who will attend to your needs. And I’m the perfect fit for the job.”      Again, he stayed silent. Kaylee sat beside him.      “Grayson, if we will help each other. Things will work out.”      “Okay, if that’s what you want. But, why do I feel like you’re in a hurry? We can take our time. We don’t need to push ourselves too hard, right?”      This time, it was Kaylee who stayed silent. She keeps finding the right words to say but her mind remained blank. She opened her mouth, hoping the words will come out of her mouth. But there’s nothing…           “I…”           Her eyes started to fill with tears. Kaylee looked away from him before her tears fell and secretly wiped it away.           “I just don’t want to waste time, Gray. If there’s one thing I realized during those times I was away with you. Everything and everyone that we have can vanish in just a snap of a finger. Life is so short,” she said and look at him again. “We don’t know what will happen in the coming days. I am here right now with you but I might not be here the next month. So, why waste time if we can do it right now?”           “Why? Are you going somewhere?”           She smiled at him. “What I meant was, just in case…”           Grayson nodded.           “You’re right. I’m sorry if I sounded rude. It’s just that, I’m still adjusting myself with you, you know? I still don’t know how to act when you're around. Feels like everything is new but yet familiar. Do you know what I mean?”           Kaylee smiled. “I know, and don’t worry, I understand.”           “Thanks.”           “Ace said I can use the guest room. I’ll just unpack and arrange my things inside.”           “Okay,” he nodded.           Together with her luggage. As soon as Kaylee closed the door of her new room. She faced that door and lean her forehead. There she closed her eyes and allow herself to silently cry.           “You have to remember me, Grayson. You have too,” she whispered.             AFTER unpacking, Kaylee changed her dress into sweat pants and shirt. Then, she went to the kitchen and quickly prepare dinner for them. After the table is all set. She went to his room and knocked on the door.           “Grayson?”           She knocked again but his not answering. Slowly, she opens the door and there he found him sleeping on his bed. Kaylee sighed and approached him. She was about to wake him up when she found herself staring at his handsome face. Grayson hasn’t changed a bit except that he became a lot more handsome. Kaylee carefully sat down at the edge of the bed and slowly raised her hand to caress his cheeks. She sighed as she keeps staring at his face.           “Do you really usually do this? Stare at me while I’m sleeping?” he suddenly said.           Kaylee almost jumped off the bed startled. “S-Sorry.”           He laughed then open his eyes and look at her.           “How long are you awake?”           “Long enough to smell that seems delicious food you’re cooking.”           She smiled and shyly look down.           “You can sit down?” he said.           She sat down again and look at him. That moment makes her happy. Grayson is staring at her as if he remembers her. He still got those almond shaped hazel brown eyes, his perfectly curved nose and those natural kissable lips. His hair is quite long now, but that hair style looks good on him. Back in the days, he has a fair complexion, now his skin tone got a bit darker now. But it fits him perfectly. Having dark skin tone made him look a lot more manly. His body built got bigger. Grayson loves to go to the gym. He makes sure to keep his body in perfect fit. Maybe because he’s a celebrity, that he always wants to look good in front of his fans.           “Why are you staring at me like that?”           “Nothing, I just remember when we were kids. Your Mom used to complain that it’s hard to wake you up especially in the morning. But you quickly wake up as soon as you heard my voice.”           Grayson chuckled. “Mom is still complaining about that until now.”           Kaylee laughed. “That’s why she always asked me to do it for her.”           “Really?”           She nodded. “I was your walking alarm clock back then.”           “How often do we fight?”           She paused and think carefully. “Um, not really often. But I get angry every time you play with girls.”           He laughed and put the pillow on his face. “Oh man, now I’m a believer. We really are friends.”           “I told you, I know everything about you.”           He sighed and put the pillow away and stared at the ceiling. “I wish I can remember everything soon. I want us to talk about the moments that we shared while growing up together. Laugh like this.”           “I told you, you will remember everything soon.”      Grayson got up and sat on the bed and stared closely at her face.      “I think I can adjust quickly. I like having you around me.”      She smiled at him. “That’s good.”      He looks straight to her eyes and other parts of her face as if he’s trying to memorize every detail of it.      “You’re beautiful. Are you sure we’re just best friends and we didn’t date or anything?”      Kaylee throw her head backwards as she laughed so hard.      “See? You really are a player! Stop that!” she answered instead and stood up.      “And no, we didn’t date. So, let’s go. I already set the table.”
