Daphne's POV I let the door slam on my way out. Gently though, I didn't want it to be termed an act of disobedience and an unnecessary defiance to the school's rules by Mrs Higgins. The last thing I wanted was detention or to get into any kind of trouble with her. I wasn't even up for anything that would stress me out, I'd had enough in the past week and a gut feeling told me there'd be more, what I'd just experienced was literally the tip of the iceberg. I scanned the hallway the moment I stepped out of class. It was a bit empty, but not for long.
