Club Incident- Amelia's POV

I could not help it. Chase had me thinking about him ever since I got to the house. His physique and his eyes took me. His tall frame was another plus. For some reason though, his eyes reminded me of my late night visitor that I got scared of. The eyes and that dog tag that he wore was what caught my attention.  As I walked into the house, of course, Samantha decided to call me on my cell phone. I took the phone out of my bag and answered it, placing it to my ear.       "I swear, you always get it on time when I get to the house." I told her, as I removed my clothing.  "What's up, girl?" Samantha asked. "Hey, it's not just her, either." I heard Jasmine on the other end. "What's going on, you two? Why are we three-waying each other like we're in high school?" “Because we can." Samantha said. "Now, Jasmine insists that we go out with her tonight." "Wow, that sounded so bad." Jasmine sighed. "There's a reason I'm suggesting it, Amelia." "Regardless, it is a Friday night." I said. "Where did you want to go to?" It was weird that Jasmine wanted to go out with us. She was always the isolated girl. If it wasn't work related, then, there was no point for her to come out with Samantha and I. But, hey, it was whatever. I headed into the kitchen and leaned against the counter, still staring at the refrigerator. If we were going to go out, then I needed to know if it was a place we were able to get food from.  “What time are we leaving?” I asked.  “We’re coming to get you in a couple hours.” Jasmine said. “Who’s driving?” I asked. “I am.”  “She wants to take us to Club Nightverse.” Samantha said. “I heard about that place, but we never went to it.” “We were always going to other places, that’s why.” I sighed. “However, I wouldn’t mind going to a local club. Maybe, I could even get a few cups for myself.” “Yeah, maybe. Anyways, get dressed. We’ll be on our way.” I squinted my eyes, glancing around the kitchen. “You guys said you were coming in a couple hours.” I said to Samantha. “Nope, I changed my mind.” Samantha said. “Bye!” “See you in a few, Amelia.” Jasmine said. I hung up the phone and headed off to get ready. ** “Wow, this is the club?” I asked Jasmine. “Yeah, it is.” She said. The club was packed with people standing in line. Jasmine parked the car and the three of us got out. We all walked up to the front and stood in the long line. “Ugh, I hate having to wait in line.” Samantha said. “Well, that’s what we must do in order to get in.” Jasmine sighed. “I wished we knew somebody who could get us in.” Samantha said. A loud commotion came from the front of the club. As nosey as the three of us were, we all poked our heads out to the side to see what was going on.  “I don’t f*****g care!” A male shouted. “You’re not getting back in this f*****g club!” “Man, f**k you!” Another man shouted. “You’re lucky I don’t burn this b***h down!” “Whoa, who in the hell is that?” Samantha asked. “I don’t know.” I said. “Watch my spot; I’m going to go look.” I got out of line and walked up to the front. When I got there, there was a small group of men outside of the club, yelling. I stood and watched them yelling at one another, wondering what the hell had happened. “Like I said, you’re not getting in this b***h!” One guy shouted at the group.  “You can’t stop me from coming in!” Another guy shouted. “I paid to get in this place!” “You can have your f*****g 20 dollars back, too!” The bouncer shouted. He reached into his pocket and tossed the money into that guy’s face, angering him more.  “Man, where’s Chase?!” One of the guys’ shouted. “He needs to come handle this s**t!” Chase? He works here? I looked around, hoping to see him. When I turned my head to the right, I saw Samantha smiling wide at me. I shrugged my shoulders at her, wondering why she was cheesing so damn hard. “You need to leave.” A familiar voice said. I snapped my head back in the front and saw Chase. Gosh, he was looking good in his security outfit. “Come on, Chase!” The guy shouted. “Your brothers started the s**t!” “Man, the hell we did! You’re over here causing problems in our f*****g club! Now, leave before I f**k you up!” “Are you kidding me, Matthew?! Man, f**k this s**t!” The guy tried to swing at Matthew, but Chase intercepted him, shoving him back. When the guy fell back, he ended up crashing into me hard. I fell to the ground on my ass, getting a scratch on my ankle. “Amelia!” Samantha shouted. Jasmine and Samantha rushed over to me. While the guys were dealing with the group of disrespectful men, I turned my attention to Chase. He saw me and his facial expression was a sad one. He rushed over to me and helped me up. “I’m so sorry.” He whispered to me.  “Amelia, are you okay?” Jasmine asked.  I nodded before I turned my attention to my ankle. Chase kneeled down and checked out the fresh wound that I had gotten. “You’re bleeding.” He said to me. “I have a medkit inside.” “It’s okay.” I told him. “I’ll go to the bathroom and clean it off.” “Amelia, I’m so sorry.” Chase apologized. Samantha grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the club door. I turned to him and smiled. “It’s okay.” I told him. Jasmine, Samantha and I walked to the bouncer. “Let them in.” Chase told him. The bouncer nodded and moved out of our way. I turned and gave him a small smile before Jasmine and Samantha guided me inside the club. ** “I can’t believe this happened to you.” Samantha said. “What the hell happened up there?”  “I don’t know.” I told them. “But, I don’t think he meant to do that.” “He didn’t see you?”  “No, he didn’t. Plus, he was dealing with that guy and his crew.” “Ugh!”  Samantha threw the bloody tissue away in the trash and she helped me off the toilet. A knock came on the door and all three of us turned to it. Chase walked in with the medkit and handed it to Jasmine.  “Thanks.” Jasmine said. “So, you’re the guy that delivered the box to us earlier?” Samantha asked. Chase nodded his head and Samantha rolled her eyes at him. “Didn’t know you liked injuring women at work.”  “Sam, it’s not his fault.” I said. “Don’t do that, okay?” “I’m sorry.” Chase said again. ‘I didn’t see you at all.” I looked at him and nodded. “I’m not mad at you.” I told him.  “Hell, I am.” Samantha said.  “Samantha… Stop.” “You know she’s not.” Jasmine said. Chase put his hands in his pocket and glanced down at the floor. I couldn’t help, but to stare at him. He was so handsome, I was practically drooling. “How about I give you guys free drinks?” Chase asked. “You don’t have to.” I told him. “I like that.” Samantha said, clutching her purse close.  “Wow, really?” I asked her. I looked at Chase who just smiled. Jasmine grabbed a bandaid from the medkit and she handed the medkit back to him.  “Here you go.” Jasmine said.  Chase grabbed the medkit and looked at me. “Come with me to the bar.” He told me. I nodded and the three of us followed him out of the bathroom.
