Meeting Her-Chase's Point of View

1654 Words
Amelia stared back at me like she was staring in the mirror. Hell, I stared at her as well. She was the girl my wolf went crazy for. Now that we faced each other in broad daylight, I was able to see her clearer and I had to admit, my wolf knew what I liked. Her beauty was exquisite and her eyes snatched me in. Her beautiful sepia skin tone was something I have never witnessed before. The dark freckles that appeared, only on her cheeks and nose were the perfect amount. Just staring into her amber-colored, almond eyes, almost forced a growl from my wolf within. Her height was nowhere near mines. I stood at a good 7’1 and she was a good 4’9. Her body was that of the spoon shape: Small at the type and her hips and thighs were wide. My favorite body structure of a woman. She pushed her silver curls behind her shoulders, showing a deep red color within both cheeks. She extended her arms out to me and I handed her the box that I had for her. “Thank you.” She said. “You’re welcome.” I said, trying to calm down. My own heart raced in my ears, my heartbeats were deafening to hear. It wasn’t just mines that I heard, though. Hers matched mines. The rapid-racing sound let me know that she was nervous as well. “Um, Amelia?” Her friend called her name. She shook her head before turning to her friend. “Oh my god, I’m sorry.” She said, smiling. “Um, thank you again.” “You’re welcome, again.” I backed away before I turned out the building. Kiba was ready to creep out of me without permission and I couldn’t let anybody see that, especially her. I rushed to the UPS truck and pressed my back against the side of the truck. “Calm down.” I whispered to my wolf. “I can’t shift here.” Kiba: That scent… It was her, wasn’t it? I sighed before I nodded my head. “It was her.” I said, calmly. “Now, calm down.” “Excuse me?” I heard a softly spoken tone come from the other side of the truck. I pushed off the truck and walked around to the other side of the truck. Her amber eyes were staring at me, once more. f**k, why did she stare at me like that. A whimper came from Kiba as that strawberry mint scent came back. “Yes?” I asked her. “Hi, I’m.. I’m sorry if I disrupted you from leaving.” “No, you didn’t.” She flashed a beautiful smile at me before she continued. “My friend insisted that I come talk to you.” She chuckled. “She and I think alike, then.” I told her. “I was trying to think of a way to approach you.” “Really?” “Yeah.” We stood there, quiet for a second. I needed to think of a way to ask her out. Is it too early for a number? What if she said ‘no’? Damn it, I was wreck. “Are you okay?” She asked me. “Yeah.” I told her. “Hey, I’m sorry. I hope this isn’t rude or too soon, but… I was wondering if I could… Maybe get your number?” She walked closer to me and pulled out a business card. I turned the card over and saw that it had her cellphone on it. “Will you use it?” She asked me. I glanced back up at her and nodded my head. “I’ll definitely use it.” I told her. “Can I call you or do you prefer a text?” She bit her lip and shrugged. “Whichever one you prefer.” She said. “As long as I hear from you.” “You’ll definitely hear from me.” I told her. “I’ll call you as soon as I get off of work.” I caressed the side of her cheek before I walked back to the driver side of the car. She walked over to my side and I started the car before I turned to her, once more. “Is everything alright?” I asked her. “Yeah.” She said. “I’m sorry. It’s just… Your eyes.” “What about them?” “It’s like I seen them before.” She remembers. I smiled at her and leaned down to where my face was close to hers. “You can keep on seeing them, if you want.” I whispered to her. Another blush appeared and she covered her face before she rushed back to her job. I laughed before I pulled off from her street onto the next location. ** I headed home and freshened up. Like I said, my brothers and I had a club to open tonight. I parked my truck and hopped out. As soon as I got to my front door, my brothers were already dressed. “Damn, you’re never late from work.” Aiden said. “Hurry up, so we can go to the club.” “My bad you guys, I had a far away package to deliver.” I sighed. “Go ahead and I’ll meet you guys there.” “You sure?” Matthew asked. “We can always wait for you?” “I’m positive.” I told them. “Go ahead.” Aiden nodded and my brothers left. I pulled my phone out and took Amelia’s card out of my pocket. Dialing her number in my phone, I pressed the call button and waited for her to answer. The ringing tone played a few times before her sweet, soft spoken voice answered it. “Hello?” She answered. “Amelia?” I called her name. “Um, yes, this is her. Who is this?” “It’s.. It’s Chase. You gave me your card when I was by my UPS truck.” I headed upstairs and walked into my room that smelled of cedarwood and pine cones due to me staying in a wooden cabin in the redwoods. “Hi, how are you?” She asked me. Kiba whimpered. He heard her voice through the phone. “I’m good.” I told her. “How are you?” “Good, just now getting off of work.” “Same, I’m.. Just now getting home and I’m preparing to go to another job.” “Busy guy, aren’t you? I like that.” I smiled into the phone. I sat on the bed and removed my UPS work outfit from my body. “So, what do you do?” She asked me. “I work for a club.” “Really? You’re a clubber?” I chuckled at her question as I got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom that was connected to my room. I walked in and headed over to the clear shower glass. I slid the door open and I leaned in, turning the water on. The clear liquid sprayed out of the shower head and onto the shower floor. “Is that a problem?” I asked her. “No.” She said. “I love to have fun myself.” “That’s good.” The conversation grew quiet and it was time for me to end the call. “Hey, is it okay that we talk later?” I asked her. “I need to get prepared for work and I’m in need of a shower.” “Okay.” She said. “Well, thank you for calling me… Um… I’m sorry, you never gave me your name.” “It’s Chase.” “Well, I’ll talk to you later, Chase.” “That’s a ‘most definite’.” “Bye.” “Bye.” I hung up the phone and groaned. Kiba was getting annoying with the whimpering and whining. “I understand that feeling.” I told him. “But, you have to calm down.” Kiba: I’m sorry.. I get excited just hearing her voice… “I do, too. Trust me. You think I don’t want to taste her?” I hopped in the shower and cleaned up. Once, the dirt and sweat was off me, I hopped out and prepared to get ready for work. My brothers and I came up with jobs for ourselves. Matthew was the DJ, Brandon worked the bar, Aiden managed the place, Cole cleaned up the place after we closed, and Kyle worked the front door. I did security for the club. My wolf warned me of situations that did not need to be in our club. Drugs, rape, fights, attempted murder and other dangerous things. I checked myself out in the mirror before I went to work on my hygiene. I threw on some Degree deodorant, then I brushed my teeth with the Peppermint toothpaste I had gotten from the store. I rinsed my mouth and glanced up at the mirror, flashing a smile that revealed all four of my sharp canines. I glanced at my phone and sighed. There was no resting for me. Exiting the bathroom, I rushed downstairs and grabbed my keys off the table. Then, I rushed out the house to my truck. When I hopped in the car and dialed Aiden’s number. “Yeah?” He answered the phone. “Did you guys eat?” I asked him as I started the car and pulled out of the driveway to my cabin. “No, why? You’re going to grab something?” “Yeah, I’m hungry.” “Just grab a few boxes of pizza for us and bring it when you come. I think we’re going to have a full house, tonight.” “Really? Alright, I’ll do that.” I hung up the phone and headed off to our favorite pizza place: D6.
