The Bond Distance Grew

Everything begins, just as everything ends. This story is about just that a beginning? Of what you ask? The beginning of the love song almost prevented.  You see far far away, King Brent had received a very ominous prophecy from Oracle Dalia. As her eyes turned emerald green, and thick green smoke billowed all around her. She spoke"Twin rulers there shall be. Their might you shall see. One whose voice, the people will sway, the other who will mark the end of your days" King Brent looked at the Oracle in shock as his wife, the queen was pregnant, with twins. He looked at his wife apologetically." My love, I am sorry but you heard the oracle, our child will kill me, and they take away our people from us. We can have more children." He told her. Queen Alisandre looked at him in horror and shock" Do you hear yourself? We can have more children. you say, our twins will take away our people from us, you say? like there is nothing we can but kill our unborn children? There are many things we can do. Please don't do this?" She begged pleaded with her husband the king. He shook his head"There is, my darling but how long will it last, this is the only sure way."He said, "I promise our next child, whether it be boy or girl, I will name them heir to the throne, so please my love, let go of these children." He pleaded on his knees"Think of it this way, we didn't abandon our children, but they instead saved us. Once the people hear of this prophecy they will bang on the gates demanding we kill them, this way our children won't feel hated." He said. Alisandre sighed, silently crying for the loss of her unborn children, how unfit she feels, the fact that her husband the king is right. She nodded"Where is the elixir?"She asked still crying                                                                 KING BRENTS POV When I heard the prophecy. My eyes grew so wide I felt like they were going to pop out of the socket. On one hand, having children that powerful was a blessing, but on the other hand what if they used it against me, what if the prophecy came true. No, I can't allow it. I can have more children, but twins must never be born to the royal family again. I just hope my wife can forgive me, for what I am about to do." I think to myself as I face her" my love, you heard the prophecy these twins you are carrying could be the end of us, we can't allow that to happen. We can have more children. who I will name heir immediately, just please let go of these twins." I implore her. The look on her face almost destroys me, as she begs me to change my mind.  as I feel the same way she looks like I am a monster for even thinking it. I tell her" We didn't abandon them, instead they saved us." I finish and look her in the eyes. She sighs crying asking for the abortion elixir.                                                                     Queen Alisandre's POV The prophecy took me by surprise, a child whose voice can sway the heart of the people, another child who will mark the end of our days. All this was too overwhelming for me to handle right now, but what put me over the edge was hearing my husband plead and beg me to let our children go, to allow them to kill them. I couldn't believe my ears. How.. how could be so cruel, as to even think such a thing. But in the end, he is right, they will be dangerous. So I hesitantly agree and cry.
