Chapter 27: Status-check

Hanayuki and I change our clothes with equipment compatible with our battle styles. I'm an assassin type, I can't really wear some heavy armor, because that will slow down my agility. For Hanayuki, she wore a wizard robe in white color.

I snapped and walked to Kuro. Yuna immediately pointed her sword to me and with a serious tone she said.

"What are you going to do dark being?"

"I never heard of this... I thought it's a mission to capture Hikari."

I said with an angry expression. Kuro stays silent and looks toward my eye's indicating that the true plan is executing Hikari.

I got angrier and pulled my sword with its blazing flames and attacked Kuro as fast as possible.

"Blazing assassination s***h!"

"Sword Magic: sword of vengeance!"

Yuna cast her magic and block my sword. My damage returns to me as a condition of attacking the sword of vengeance.

"That girl is the child of darkness... There no need to make her alive."

Said Kuro.

"Then why you recruit me in this raid?"

I asked and look at him with bloodshot eyes.

"I know you are fond of this girl and you're skill as an adventurer exceeds those normal ones. I need you and with this, you're able to see her again. Like you always wanted. Are you still gonna join us?"

"After hearing those words what did you think?"

"I see, then you're going to refuse around hundreds of Integrity knights around you. They might be weaker than you but their number is enough to kill you."

Hanayuki steps up and proposes.

"Then, let's just settle this in who get their first and get Hikari... let's split up. Our party is not joining this raid anymore we're going on our way toward the tower and get Hikari. Integrity knights will fight and climb the tower. The first one decides what to do on Hikari."

Yuna said.

As Yuna swings her sword to hit Hanayuki. Hanayuki bravely grabs the blade and uses her magic to cover her hand.

"Sory, but I'm strong you know... I'm stronger than you and Kuro. I can kick all your butts if I wanted."

Hanayuki said.

What is with this girl? That magic she releases to intimidate the Integrity knights are beyond the noble. The magic she released is bigger than this island and yet still so many. The intensity and denseness of her magic make the gravity heavier.

Kuro pulled his sword and Yuna goes and attacked Hanayuki.

"Space magic: Space freeze!"

Freezing the time Hanayuki was n where to be found.

As expected from a rare magic Kuro can also stop the time for a few seconds.

Alicia and I were very shocked at the outcome and Hanayuki's action. It's like they know information about Hanayuki. Hanayuki sure was a mystery and her level is beyond even Kuro.

"Just who are you Hanayuki?"

"She is gone?"

The time freeze duration wore off and Hanayuki reveals her elf behind Kuro. the other adventurer immediately attacked Hanayuki with their sword and magic but Hanayuki disappeared once again.

"?!"

Alicia then noticed.

"Hanayuki's lightning speed is so fast. I can't see her..."

"The only one that can rival my time freeze is time magic and light magic. Could it be that this little girl was able to move at the speed of light?"

Kuro said.

"You're mother was Koyuki the swordmaster. She was also considered a hero and the first sword saint that save humanity from the black dragon 10 years ago. She disappeared after that battle the bone of the dragon remained near the Stella town."

Said Alicia in shock.

It's confusing, Hanayuki is really a complete mystery.

Using a magic card I checked my status and saw my attack power. My attack power is in 5700 in vampire form it became double to 11,400. That's a clear difference in power.

Kuro and Yuna is around 15,000 attack power, Alicia is in 977 attack power.

As Hanayuki's proposal, we slit up. Because Alicia has low attack power Alicia said that she will become support by using her telepathy magic.

The raid team on the shore is the integrity knight's team leader by Kuro and Yuna. In the mountain, Hanayuki and I were running. It's unsafe because of the earth monster living in the mountain but this path is the fastest path to climb the tower. With the agility of wind and Hanayuki with the speed of lightning. We charge into the battle to save Hikari.
