Chapter 19: Assassination (part 3)

After the girl's night party, Hanayuki and the others started to know Alicia more and more. they laugh together and share some secrets. Making them quite close to each other. the doubt in their Seele's heart faded and they became friends.

The following day. Alicia became a waitress in the cafe with Seele and Hanayuki.

Some locals are quite surprised to see Alicia serving as a waiter. Elulu explains that it's just a miss understanding yesterday. Elulu and the others keep the secret that Alicia is a princess.

Since Alicia will fail the trial. Alicia just accepted her fate and decided to live in this peaceful town of Flore.

"I can become be a respectable human if I work hard."

Alicia said.

That's why she is working hard and started on being nice to everyone.

She also realizes that staying in the castle is more like suffering to her. No one loves her in that place she thought. Staying there is out of the question.

Running away doesn't mean losing, sometimes it's winning.

The day continues.

Ren is the back of the cafe cleaning dirty dishes again. While the other four girls happily serving the customers with a smile.

"I wonder when my next mission will come."

Ren said while cleaning the plates.

After work, they all gather for dinner as usual.

Ren after dinner go outside and train his swordsmanship. In the open plain near the town is the place Ren practice. It's open plain and a great place to release some magic.

Ren with his sword started to concentrate and after a few seconds.

"Sword skill: Flame strike."

The flame strike is a sword s***h enhance with Flames. The flames make the blade in incredible heat and also make the blade faster.

It's more like a low version of Blazing assassination s***h.

Blazing the assassination s***h makes the sword very light as a feather. Making it the perfect skill to assign the want to one skite the opponent. Since there is almost no weight. Ren's speed increase. The flame also makes the sword attack power in a very high state.

Ren makes space and does the next skill he's learning.

"Flame skill: Flame cutter!"

The Flame sword this time make a cutter like flames and release it to the far distance before dissolving. This skill is very useful to a long rage situation.

Ren heard a clap from behind. As he turns his head around he some a pretty girl wearing her elegant nightdress. Her azure eyes make her even beautiful and her soft porcelain skin is radiating with the moonlight.

"Seele..."

"Ehhh? You're blushing... Do you have an interest in me?"

"Why all of you think that I'm some kind of p*****t?"

"So you're not?!"

"Of course I'm not, I'm practicing here don't bother me."

Ren said and continue using his magic.

Seele sits down in thick moss and watches Ren.

"Hey, Ren wants to train with me?"

That caught Ren's attention.

As decided, Seele trained Ren.

Seele used her gun and blast numerous amount of magic bullet at Ren.

"Here it goes Ren... 100 bullets!"

100 bullets came to Ren. Ren enhances his body with magic and uses his sword to defect each bullet successfully.

"Another one."

"Then, 500 bullets!"

Ren makes his speed increase in his body and deflects all the bullet at the same time.

"Next wave... 1000 Bullet!"

"I need to go all out. Flame sword skill: Flame strikes!"

"Good you deflect them all... then, this is the last one... 3,000 bullets!"

Ren grips his sword tightly and breakthrough his limits.

"Blazing assassination s***h barrage!"

While the dense amount of magic bullet flies toward Ren. Ren unconsciously used his vampire form.

"You got something in your sleeves... then since this entertain me a little. Let's go for more. 10,000 bullets."

The vampire form of Ren has a time limit of 2 minutes and it takes a lot of time before Ren can use it again.

"I need to fix this before the time limit... Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!"

Ren's determination and will make's it possible. Ren successfully deflected 10,000 bullets.

After that Ren falls to the ground and looks up in the starry sky.

"I did it."

Ren said with a heavy breath.

"You're quite something, Ren that might be the reason you defeated Pithon."

"You know it?"

"Hanayuki told us last night..."

"Hanayuki is stronger than me, without Hanayuki I might not able to pull it off."

Ren said.

"You're strong and nice... Do you know I like boys like you..."

Ren's face turns red.

"You're blushing even more... It's funny."

"What's so funny?"

"It's nothing... I better go to bed and sleep. Before a vampire jump toward me.

"I would not do something like that."

Seele started teasing Ren. It's the sign that they started to know each other better.

Moving to the castle.

King Arthur meets up with mysterious shadows.

"Your majesty it's confirmed... It's confirmed that Alicia is not your child."

Said the shadow.

The shadows give the folder containing the information about Alicia and the man that supposed to be his real father.

"We already assassinate the man in the picture. What is your next order my majesty?"

Shadow asked.

"I see, I always have the feeling of it since the beginning. Alicia is not my daughter. I never have this feeling of bond toward her...She is such a failure... Shadow your next mission is to assassinate the failure that gives embarrassment to the castle. Assassinate Alicia."

Order by King Arthur.

"As you please my majesty."

The shadow said and disappeared.

King Arthur took a picture of Alicia and burn it with flame magic.

Alicia without knowing. the ruth Alicia tried to restart her life and live a peaceful life in the Town of Flore.

But she didn't know the chaos about to hit her.

The assassination of Alicia Archangel is about to begin.

It's been a week since. Alicia started working with Elulu and the others. Nothing Alicia easily adjusts to her new environment and started to smile genuinely.

Next day.

"Thank you, everyone, for accepting me even though I attempt to kill Elulu-chan."

Said Alicia.

"Don't worry about it it's nothing. You're a new friend of mine now."

Replied Elulu.

Alicia looked toward Elulu with gentle eyes.

"That's right I will do my best again at work!"

Alicia gets up and dresses in her maid outfit. With an eye's full of passion she goes and cleans the tables.

Seele then said:

"You don't have to that now... We're on day-off."

"Day-off~"

Alicia is quite sad because Alicia loves to work. She turned her teary eyes to Seele.

"Then, what should I do now? I started to feel useless..."

"Don't be like that Alicia... Tomorrow is the day of the festival. We're going to help the town's people in decorating the town. There's a lot of food at the main event tomorrow. For today we will help them out."

Seele said.

"Yey festival... I always like to go out I festival with my friends."

"It's also my first festival with Seele since we got separated because of work."

Said Elulu.

"Festival! I can't wait for the food. I wonder what kind of food cart and games are at the festival. I would like to play shooting games and catch goldfish."

Said Hanayuki.

"Festival... I never came to the festival because I was busy with training..."

Ren said and take a sip of coffee.

Everyone run around Ren and with teary eye's they said:

"How sad?! Ren is the type of guy that don't have many friends after all. Don't worry Ren I will buy you lots of apple candy and catch goldfish for you."

Said Elulu.

"Thank's Elulu-chan..."

"Then you have not seen fireworks before?"

Asked Hanayuki.

Ren looks to the pitch-black coffee and replies;

"I have already seen one before... It's just a glimpse but it's one of the most memorable moments of my life."

Said Ren.

"What is that mysterious aura surrounding you? I started to get curious about what happened... the sun is rising everyone. Let's go and help the town people."

Said Seele.

Everyone go outside and help the town's people with decoration. Hanayuki helps the people inputting their food carts, Ren goes and help in putting colorful lights and flags. Alicia does some cooking and cleaning. Elulu and Seele go with the management of the festival. Everything was moving smoothly.

It's very un-princess like but Alicia is really good at cleaning. Ren noticed that while seeing Alicia enjoying picking up the trash.

"I never thought a princess can do such things."

"That might be only Alicia."

"You're right, Alicia got a sad past after all. let's go back Hanayuki. the chief is waiting with the buns."

Hanayuki gets the box containing buns and said:

"Don't worry about it... It's a piece of cake with my ability."

Hanayuki used her lightning speed and deliver every box of buns to the chief with no ease. The town chief is making a hamburger stand. He gave Hanayuki a free hamburger afterward.

"Here for you Hanayuki... Also, give this one to Ren."

"Is it really okay?"

"It's okay you helped us a lot."

Chief replied.

Hanayuki goes back to her line of work.

While Ren is decorating the street he senses a presence from the woods and decided to follow it.

Something is fishy going on here. It's like someone is hiding in the woods.

Ren reached the dark part of the woos and saw a shadow. The shadow moves fast and threw a shuriken at Ren. Ren drew his sword and deflected it.

"Fast, expected of a ninja class... Who are you? Why you're here? What company are you from?"

"It's none of your business! Ninja skill: Cloning Jutsu!"

"Clone Jutsu?!"

The ninja multiplied to ten and attacked Ren in a different direction.

"Ninja skill: Lightning blade!"

A ball of lightning appeared in the ninja's hand and attacked Ren.

Ren moves in a circular motion and used the flame of his sword to crawl in each clone.

The clones started to burn and disappeared. the ten clon disappeared. Ren noticed it and didn't let his guard down.

"I know you're just hiding... Answer my question! Are you from Integrity knights?"

In the current time. Ren is suspecting the ninja to be an assassin from Integrity knights.

"Sleeping knight? I'm not from that company... I'm from a completely different one."

"Then why you're here?"

"Who knows? I just love killing... Shadow skill: Shadow blade."

The ninja suddenly appeared beside ren and about to use his katana to kill Ren.

"Flame sword skill: Flame strike!"

The clash of sword builds up winds. Alicia noticed the mysterious magic and Ren's magic in the woods.

Alicia started to wonder what's happening and entered the woods. As she never saw Ren and the ninja fighting.

"You truly amazed me assassin... You can keep up with my speed... As a reward, I will introduce my self... My name is Roku a rogue ninja working in the assassin company."

"Assassin? Then you're here to assassinate someone... Are you into Elulu's head?"

"Elulu? Who is that? Never heard her name..."

"Don't play dumb..."

Ren said and cast a flame cutter to the ninja. The ninja easily dodges the attack and continue...

"I'm not lying... Too bad playtime is over."

The ninja just disappeared in smoke.

"Assassin then someone is about to be killed here... If it's not Elulu then..."

Before Ren finished his sentence Alicia make an appearance.

"Who is that ninja, Ren?"

Alicia asked.

"It's an enemy... I don't know why he's here, but I will do my best to protect everyone... That ninja sure is fast. that's the difference of class."

"You're so good in fighting I never seen someone deflecting shuriken. It's so cool... I also tried learning swordman ship but that sword weight always catches me."

Said Alicia.

"I heard what's happening Ren. Looks like we have unexpected visitors."

Seele appeared with Elulu.

"Ninja class and two more other. I saw it run around to the town earlier."

Said Elulu.

"There are three enemies?"

"No matter how many are they, we must defeat them or else the happy festival that everyone wants's will be tainted by blood."

Seele said.

Seele is right, tomorrow should be a happy festival for everyone. Everyone goes back to helping the town's people.

In the far way forest, the three ninjas gathered.

"Roku... You forgot in using your concealability. That assassin noticed you immediately."

The one who's talking as a ninja with a big bulky body and his face is covered with a pumpkin mask. He was called with the alias of Strong-fist.

"God, you're right...But I have fun with him... He is strong and can keep up with my speed. I wonder if he can kill me."

Said Roku.

"If you wanted to die. I will kill you anytime. The first thing is first... The location of Alicia is confirmed we will execute the mission tonight."

Said the shadow leader.

The shadow leader is a guy with sharp eyes and using a mask of a raven beak in the lower half of her face. His name is Raven.

"Tonight it will be a festival of blood."
