Chapter 43: Familiar face

One month has passed.
(After completing his missions, Ren is currently his own way to go home in Celest city. With the money, he earns with missions. Ren decided to buy a house for Hikari and himself in Celest city. The house is an ordinary house. A fine house that he called home.)
Riding my broom like I was surfing. The night is so silent and so peaceful. It's like the time stopped.
"It's so dark and I can't see the way."
To find my way back to Celest city. I get the compass in my pocket and look for the west direction straight to Celest city.
Looking around me, all I saw is a rocky mountain on my left and a forest on my right side. This area is not familiar to me. This is the first time I ever go here. Struggling to find my way. I notice that my compass is moving weirdly. It keeps on spinning in different directions.
With this I toward the conclusion that...
"I'm really lost."

Suddenly in a single second. A heavy feeling fell on me. A feeling of pure bloodlust.
This magic and presence are abnormal!
"?!"
Weird sweat started to slide in my face and I started to tremble in fear. I landed my broom in an area where I can hide because of fear. It’s not really my style to hide, but I can say that I don’t want to put my nose on something dangerous like this.
"Sound magic: pure silence."
Using my sound magic to erase any sound my body makes. I decide to hide in the bushes.
I started to felt like I'm about to die if I made a wrong move.
This feeling is different from Melida and Ziggy's. This is more terrifying than any demons I encounter in the past.
"I have a bad feeling about this.."
With my curious self. I take peaked and look in the direction where I sense the ominous feeling.
Then, I discover a bunch of dead bodies scattered in the ground. They are wearing the armor of a knight from the Arsland kingdom and they seem to be a high-ranking ones.
On the top of their dead bodies, a little girl is sitting.
"I just want cupcakes. Why things turn like this?"
The little girl is having her own monologue while looking up at the stars.
It's already dark and her face is covered by the shadow of the cloud.
I can't see her but her voice is very similar to someone I already know.
As the cloud moves the moonlight lowly uncovers her childish face. The childish face which I saw here is similar to those I saw back in Stella city. That childish face and light brown hair. That emerald eyes and petite body.
"Hanayuki?"
She suddenly disappeared with the gust of wind.
“She’s gone.”
Someone suddenly put its hand on my shoulder. Chills run through my spines and the girl who is sitting on the dead bodies is now behind me.
"I'm not Hanayuki."
She said.
Without thinking I pulled my flaming weird and cast a skill.
"Flaming sword skill: Exploding Flames!”
My body reacts immediately distancing myself away from her with my explosion skill. I blasted myself and make a smokescreen.
What happened? Why did she saw me? I'm covered with sound magic.
"It's because you’re inner voice is so loud."
She said, then she appeared in the place where I landed.
I move at high speed and try to escape. But still useless.
So fast... She is at the level of Melida in terms of speed.
"May I asked you where to find cupcakes? Maybe fried chicken?"
"Asked someone else!"
"How rude of you? Then, can you tell me where is Hanayuki? I have some unfinished business with her."
She said.
She's persistent.
I decided to keep my thoughts silent.
I stopped running away and pointed my sword at her. She stopped moving but still with a calm expression.
Looking at her she really looks like Hanayuki. Her face exactly looks the same as her. The only difference I saw is their smile. Hanayuki has an innocent smile, but this little girl's smile is dark.
"Who are you?"
I asked.
"No need to say it... You already pointed your sword to me. Meaning you already decide to die."
She said and disappeared again in a gust of wind.
Suddenly below me, a towering tornado appeared. Making me fly up in the sky. The tornado disappeared and I can't move my body.
I'm paralyzed? But How?
This girl is also impossible to defeat like Hanayuki.
"You're so rude, I hate rude guys… You know Hanayuki but refuse to tell me. If you're not giving me information then your better off dead."
She cut my body in half without me noticing.
All I saw is her leaving and walking away disappearing with a gust of wind.
The terrifying presence was stronger than anyone. A childish face like Hanayuki.
I then remember what Scarlet told me before in Celest City.
["Birth of devil, the embodiment of evil. Her appearance is the opposite of her heart. Body of a pure-hearted, She was full of hatred. Living to destroy creation, she seeks nothing but destruction. She's the messager of darkness."]
This girl might be… The real…
