Chapter 44: New mission

Destructive explosion and exchange of sword. Metallic sounds when two swords met. A Black-armored demon facing a man in undying flame.
“What are you doing! Glenn!”
“Defeat everyone! Defeat Everyone!”
Stella city is ruined and people screaming in chaos.
“Are you serious? Are you going to destroy everything?”
“Yuki will smile at me when I defeat everyone. I must defeat everyone. She will smile on me.”
Ren with his flaming sword charge against Glenn inside a demon armor with a killing attempt.
“Blazing assassination s***h!”

Turning back the time, to tell the story before everything comes to ruin.
After meeting the girl with the same face as Hanayuki. Ren survives from her magic.
It's night time meaning I can activate my vampire mode to make the regeneration as fast as a normal vampire. This defeat is proof that I'm not hat strong to defeat evil in this world.
As Ren turns his glance around the area and looks toward the corpse in the ground. He then noticed that the girl indeed killed a commander in the Arsland Kingdom.
"Two commanders and all of their squad are killed."
Ren then gets a magic card containing his spare clothes. After wearing his clothes, Ren then activated another magic card containing a magic broom. He already planned to go back to Celest and have a rest.
But before Ren rides his broom and goes home. Wizard wearing a white robe encircled him.
What’s happening? I just encounter a monster and now I'm attacked by unknown people. Just how unlucky I am for today? I really have a bad feeling about this. I already used my energy in regenerating and my magic is about to run out.
The wizard makes a pathway for a man wearing the same white robe with golden linings and holding a golden book in his hand.
His appearance is a man in his mid-thirty and he has well-brushed silver hair and a flawless face.
I remember this face, this guy is the executor of Arsland kingdom. This man is Justice Grimoire.
"I apologize for giving you such a troublesome moment. Mister Ren, you are arrested for committing several crimes of killing... By running afoul to our kingdoms law. I shall apprehend you, take you to custody, after questioning, I shall execute you."
Justice said.
I don’t have enough magic anymore and I’m exhausted. I can’t fight this many wizards at once.
Still, I’m at a great advantage. I’m an immortal.
“Flaming sword: flaming s***h!”
Ren’s flaming sword burst with flames and he attacked Justice head-on.
“What a foolish kid…”
Justice opened his golden book and suddenly Ren dropped to the ground and his flame started t weaken.
“... Compare to me you have no power.”
My eyes are falling and my body can’t move.
The wizards in white robe captured Ren.
Ren wakes up in a cell together with the jet-black-haired man he met in Steel Island. The man is named Glenn and his an Anti-magic user.
Looking to his hand, Ren both hands are sealed with a special handcuff with the ability to restrain magical power same with Glenn beside him.
“Already awake?”
“My headaches… I’m still processing stuff in my brain.”
That’s right, I got capture by this wizard in a white robe. Wizards in white robes are the personal lackeys of the executor. The current executor of Arsland Kingdom Justice Grimoire.
His magic is unknown to me. All he did is open his book and I fall. He even captured an Antimagic user like Glenn. He is not just looking, he also fights.
That night I was defeated two times. First I was defeated by the little girl in the same face as Hanayuki and second I was defeated by Justice.
After all of the battles I join in, I’m still weak.
How can I protect Hikari if I’m this weak?
“Why you're here Glenn?”
“Well, I got caught in the castle. They thought that I’m a stalker of Princess Yusael. Honestly, I’m just following her every time. It’s not stalking.”
“I’m sure that’s stalking through.”
I replied.
“The most hurtful thing is Princess Yusael is the one that captured me and surrender me to the knights.”
Glenn said with tears in his eyes.
“I guess, any girl will do the same.”
This guy basically a stalker. Is it really okay to stay with him? Considering the battle in Steel Island. I really think he is really capable of something.
“You’re both awake.”
“It’s the guy with shiny silver hair.”
Said Glenn.
“Don’t call me in that name, arrogant peasant don’t even know the name of the current executor. Let me introduce myself. I’m Justice Grimoire the current executor of the Arsland Kingdom.”
Justice then presents us with a wanted poster with our face on it.
“Both of you are criminals. Ren Digger you’re a criminal by committing multiple murders. Glenn Fullbuster a member of the criminal group called red robe terrorist. The terrorist that attacked the kingdom many times before. Not only that Princess Yusael issue a report that you’re a p*****t stalker. Stalking means death in this kingdom.”
“Stalking has that heavy price!”
“So you're going to die… Don’t worry William will take care of Yusael.”
Ren said.
“What are you saying?! I know Yusael and William have that kind of relationship, but still, I want to do something for her.”
“That’s your reason in stalking her. Too bad you cross the line. Yusael saw you in her bathroom the other day.”
“I didn’t know it’s the bathroom.”
“She wanted to put a death sentence to you.”

Glenn is currently having a grim expression on his face. Just thinking about what's going to happen to him makes him depressed.
Fortunately, that’s not really the case. There are special meanings why Ren and Glenn are detained in the kingdom. As the current executor Justice doesn’t really come along with the nobles and royal family in the kingdom. Especially to the prince named Zeno. Justice already knows that Zeno is an enemy and he will do anything to find evidence that Zeno is an evil person.
“Don’t worry I won't kill anyone… I’m here to make a contract with both of you in exchange for your freedom. You're both skilled adventurers and you both have kindness in your heart. I know that the Red robe terrorist is not an enemy. I’m here to ask you on a mission to gather evidence to make the Lumiere family fall.”
Justice said.
Lumiere family that’s one of the highest family second to the Archangels. Evidence does that mean Lumiere is an enemy of the kingdom?
Glenn beside me started to have an angry expression on his face.
“Zeno Lumiere… That’s the man we’re going to take down.”
Glenn said bluntly.
Justice looks toward Glenn’s angry eyes and nodded.
“Even it means killing, I will do anything. I can’t let that man put his hand on princess Yusael.”
Glenn was enraged because he knows Zeno’s intention to Yusael. Zeno has a massive obsession with Yusael and wanted her to become his bride. Zeno is known to be a charming prince in the kingdom, but in reality, Zeno’s true personality is very dark.
“Glenn already agrees, how about you Ren?”
Asked Justice.
Ren goes in deep thought.
My new goal is to destroy the evil in this world to make this world a better place where I and Hikari can live happily the moment we reunited.
This is no different from before. I will take down evil people and secure people's peaceful days.
“Of course, I’m joining.”
I said.
Glenn turns his eye’s toward me with a satisfied expression.
Justice cast magic that unlocks the handcuff in our hands and opens the cell for us. After that, he handed over a knight student uniform to us.
“Wear these clothes. It will serve as a great disguise while both of you are inside the capital city.”

After that, Justice brings us to the nearest family restaurant to treat them to a meal.
"I feel like my dignity is going down seeing both of you like this!"
Justice said with his normal stiff melancholic face.
Chowing down the food in a wolf-like manner, Ren and Glenn didn't even hear or notice the eye's around them.
"How annoying to see peasant in this restaurant."
The noble said while seeing Ren and Glenn eat.
"We can blame them, they only ate this high-class food once in their entire lifetime."
Ren and Glenn didn’t even bother to care about the people bad-mouthing them.
Grabbing the roasted pork and fried chicken Glenn chow down his food. Ren gets the apple pie and sandwiches. Justice is a rich man, and the bill is rarely bothered him. Even the plate in front of him keeps on piling up like there’s no end.
The waiter and the chef truly feel amazing seeing Glenn and Ren eat their food with a delighted expression.
"Chef! Another chicken!"
"Coming! It's been a while since I saw this sight... This will make me cry, I remember the little girl that praised my fried chicken. They almost eat in the same manner. I was on the verge of giving up on cooking when I met that girl. She complimented my cooking and told me not to give up. That’s why I’m not giving up! I will do my best to serve my hungry customers!”
The master chef said.
The girl he refers to is Hanayuki. There is a time Hanayuki came to visit the capital city and Hanayuki told the chef to not give up on his cooking.
After eating Justice told Ren and Glenn about it.
"There is a hidden dungeon discovered near the capital city and I wanted both of you to investigate the happening inside that dungeon."
"Dungeon?"
“This dungeon is the main laboratory of experimental demons created by Prince Zeno. I want both of you to investigate the dungeon.”
Justice said.
“No problem here. As long as you keep your promise about our freedom.”
Said Glenn and pointed a chicken leg toward Justice.
While enjoying their time eating.
A demon suddenly slammed through the window.
"Weak, weak, weak, weak... Ahhhhhh! Are you two the strongest?!"
A dark demon with a shark-like head with pair of bat-like wings. It has a torch-like tail and sharp fangs.
On his fang is a dead knight. The demon then throws the dead knight's body to the restaurant floor. Seeing this makes the people frightenend.
The customer in the restaurant was stunned for a moment and everybody in the restaurant started to panic and make an uproar.
The demon then throws the dead soldier's body to the ground“A demon in the capital city?!”
“It’s a demon!”
Rich and noble that don’t know anything about fighting run for their lives like preys.
“This demon is brave enough to attack the city in the morning.”
Said Justice.
Justice stood up and open his golden book.
“As the executor, you will have me as your opponent.”
Before Justice cast his magic.
“Give this one to us!” 2x
Ren and Glenn already charge toward the demon with their special swords.
“Anti-magic sword: Black s***h!”
“Flaming sword: Exploding flame”
They attack at the same time and blasted demons out of the capital city.
Ren and Glenn both knew that the demon will destroy the capital city and cause casualties in the citizens. That’s why they blasted the demon outside of the city where they can fight without holding back.
The demon gets up and heals its own injures with its own regeneration ability.
That high-speed regeneration it’s like Ziggy.
“This is going to be tough.”
Ren said.
“Perfect time to burn calories.”
Glenn said.
They both make a fighting stance with their sword in front of them.
