Rains: The season of love

Episode 1 In a quite cafe, people are laughing and talking, bells are ringing, music is going on. A waiter was serving coffee for Nandini and her friend. Hold on! What’s wrong?- why did you draw a heart in the coffee? Asked Nandini. Rani: why do you care? Nandini: our coffee is supposed to be bitter, right? Rani: So? Nandini: if it’s bitter, why do they draw a heart? Please take it away. And please get rid of heart shapes in my life. Rani: my friend, please take it away and add two shots of rum to it because she needs it. Nandini: yes! Coffee won’t let me sleep and rum won’t let me feel. Just what I need! ( soft music is playing on radio.) Rani: since when did you start acting like Devdas? ( A famous old movie of Hollywood Devdas) Nandini: no, my friend. I’m a bigger loser than Devdas. Her friend asked her what’s wrong with you? Listen to me. Drink this cup of coffee and awaken the Nandini in you who was the most focused, driven, sensible and ambitious girl amongst us, Nandini: I fell into the trap. Rani: did you fall in love? You disappointed me. Nandini: at least, you shouldn’t taunt me. Rani: first look at yourself. (Gloomy music) Nandini: it’s unbearable pain. I feel as if… I feel as I can’t breathe. It’s unsteady and I have… I have palpitations. Rani: these are the symptoms of heart attack. Nandini : it was surely an attack. Rani: you are a dream queen. Please drink coffee and tell me your story. Nandini standing near window in cafe, you just said that I used to be simple, middle class girl. I love only my work. And then… And then? A storm! ( thunder rumbling)
