Chapter 4Now: Loren
We exchanged numbers. Before he went through the open door, Koa made a move that indicated an incoming kiss, then stopped himself. I probably made some impatient kind of sound (I mean, really. We f****d half an hour ago, we kissed ten seconds ago, and you think I don’t want you to kiss me goodbye?), took a handful of his shirt, and pulled him down. We were both smiling when I finally let go of him. As he disappeared around the corner of the apartment I glanced over at the house, where I was totally unsurprised to see a snoopy face at the kitchen window. I’d have to satisfy her curiosity, but first I needed to run through as much of my routine as I could.
The good: my morning routine does not usually include getting plowed by a hot set medic.
