week 2 How to design a character

background:

Laura is a normal German teenager. She has loving parents one little brother and two cats. She does karate since she was 5 years old. He strength can compete with the boys in her class.

She meets her childhood friend at the karate dojo. Her father is a black belt and all her family do karate. ( except the cats). She spends a lot of time at the dojo, studying and with her family. Because of that she doesn't have much time left for her friends, except for Halt. Who Sees her every day at the dojo and later goes to her house to study with her. Because of that everyone at school is sure the two are dating. Laura wants to be a professional athlete and compete at the olympics.

Personality:

Laura is very popular and friendly. But she is also introverted and prefers to spend time alone or with her family and Halt.

She is very stubborn and determined. It's hard to annoy her since most of the time she's a calm and logic person.

She has a strong sense of justice and is willing to help anyone who needs it.

It's hard to win a debate with her when she gets serious and she usually gets what she wants.

She is used to a stable and secure life and panics when some drastic change forces her to start from scratch.

Phisical feature: She is blonde and has rare green eyes. She is the cartoonish version of a pretty German girl. in addition to being very athletic, she likes to be fashionable to keep the title of polilar. But she never spends more than twenty euros on her clothes, other than most green brands.

Relationship to other characters

Laura's parents are her best friends. They even have discussions, but only about the universe, philosophical questions and where to spend the weekend. She rarely breaks rules.

She is 4 years older than her brother. The two don't spend the day together or always help each other, but they never fight or hurt each other. Laura's mom says she just has to wait for him to enter puberty to see. Halt and Laura were Laura's father's first students. That's why he is loved in the family as a third child. He is Laura's best friend and even though they have spent most of their lives together, neither feel romantic feelings for the other.

Laura has even more friends in the neighborhood, in karate and at school.

She always tries to spend time with everyone and help out whenever she can. But most of the time she feels exhausted having to socialize with over 100 people in one day. That's why she doesn't use social media either, however much Halt tries to convince her that he would gain twice as many followers if the two appeared together on the internet.

Laura's closest circle of friends (clik in German) consists of Halt, her neighbor Mirian, her training partner Tim, her fellow student Kendrick, and the school triplets Katrin, Lily and Bela.
