The secret routine

Tyler's POV:
It was already getting late and it was time to go back home, scouting the area is kind of exhausting and fun, I do this all the time to make sure there was no loose end. Recently there have been some rouge attacks in some of the lesser packs in the surrounding area, which has caused so much fear in some other packs, I'm not scared of rouge because I know how much I have prepared my warriors, I'm only curious of who ever that's behind them and their aim of attacking.
My wolf led us out of the woods, towards where the other warriors were scouting, I observed they were only concentrating on the most obvious and possible entrance, if I was the enemy I don't think I will go through such entrance so I mindlinked Mason my beta.
"Mason, I want you to change the routine"
"Yes Alpha, what do you suggest?"
"I'm heading to the pack house, meet me up in five minutes".
"On my way".
Ty kept running until we got to the pack house, I hurriedly took my bath and put on a black jeans trouser with a light blue shirt, when I was satisfied with my look I went downstairs to have something to eat as I was hungry, it reminded me of what happened this morning and I blamed myself of blowing away my chance of having breakfast with my mate for the first time.
I made my way to the fridge to get milk for cereals as I couldn't wait for the Omegas who were making dinner, I poured some milk into the bowl of cornflakes and began to dig in, then one of the Omegas brought me some sliced apples.
"I'm sorry for the late dinner as supplies was delayed today" she was looking exhausted and sorry which broke my heart and I know they put in so much effort every day to make meals for over three hundred of hungry werewolves excluding pups.
"Meredith, it's not your fault, and you need to rest".
"I will, please have some fruits with your cereals Alpha".
"Thanks, you are too kind" she gave me a satisfactory smile before going back to what she was doing in the kitchen.
"Hey Man, sorry for the delay, I had to go see my mate, you know this is her eight month and it gets tiring for her each day".
"I understand man, no rush when it comes to delicate issues like that" I gave him a tap on his shoulder as he took a seat opposite mine.
"Why are you having cereals?" He asked with a frown on his face.
"Couldn't wait, I was so hungry" I gave him a smile.
"Whatever man" he took some apples from my plate
"Damn! There's actually what they called hygiene, do you mind, only the goddess knows where those hands have been" I scolded him.
"Oh please, don't worry, I promise my hand has been in the most beautiful place" he smirked.
"Ew! I'm not going to eat that anymore".
"Thanks then" he carried the plate of apples to himself.
"Disgusting" he just laughed.
I kept aside my empty plates as soon as I was done.
"Anyways, back to the reasons I wanted to see your disgusting ass" he chuckled
"I want you to do some adjustments to the usual routine, we are too predictable and that's dangerous"
"What do you suggest?"
"I will be needing thirty of our bravest and strongest warriors to go scouting with me by morning"
"How early?"
"5 am and no one must know about the new changes Mason"
"Sure, no one's going to know"
I have to get my warriors ready for any attack, for years now I have been able to keep my people safe and I'm not going to let that stop, especially now that I have my mate here, soon I'm going to have my pups running everywhere, the thoughts of my mate with huge tummy and thoughts of having beautiful children with her caused me to smile unknowingly, then I got hit on my chest.
"What the f**k Mason!" It hurts where he hits me, so I was rubbing my chest just to soothe the pain.
"Why were you smiling all to yourself earlier on, was it your mate?" He kept smirking
"You think I will tell you, get out of my face Mason" I growled
"Don't you dare go all Alpha on me" he fought back
"If you don't leave here this minute, I'm going to call my mum" I think he got the memo because he just ran off like a lightening bolt, Mason has been my best friend and most times I can't get mad at him and he knows that, his only fear is my mum, I still don't know why the best warrior of Moonstone pack can become a coward in the presence of my mum, all of a sudden, I felt a female hand trailing from my back to my n*****s this got my wolf mad as this hand doesn't belong to our mate, I held the fragile hands on me and twist them, the owner growled in pains, turning to meet the face of Sophia without letting go of her hands.
"What the hell do you think you were doing?" I growled at her
"Tyler please let go of my hands" she cried
"It's Alpha Ty for you slut" I was acting like I was possessed because I allowed my wolf Ty to take over
"I'm sorry Alpha Ty, you are hurting me please" she kept crying but I wasn't going to free her because I have warned her countless times, so I told Ty to let go of her broken hands as I took back control, I just let her heal first before scolding her, when she was completely heal I took up her trembling hands, I could feel her fear.
"This is going to be the last time Sophia, the next time it's going to be your f*****g neck" I let go of her hands and walked out on her.
"It's time to go see my little beautiful mate" this time I choose to walk back to my house in my human form.
