"Can someone explain what happened?" I'm so confuse right now.

"Give her time Alpha, I'm sure she's just overwhelmed with everything, besides she still feels like stranger here.

"But she's not a stranger!" I sounded a bit frustrated and didn't mean to raise my voice at Juliana.

"I'm so sorry Juliana"

"It's okay Alpha, I understand your frustration, but nothing is going to work like this, you have to win her heart, besides with what I saw earlier on I don't think it will be that difficult winning her" she gently gave me a tap on my shoulder and smiled cheering me up before excusing herself.

Everything was going perfect this morning until I opened my mouth and called her my mate, at first she was shocked, then she looked confused, before I could say anything else she ran away. Does my mate not want me, I felt my heart shattered, like I couldn't breathe "that's not true" my wolf Ty responded but I wasn't buying it, I needed to allow Ty take charge so I shifted to my wolf when I was sure my mate wasn't in sight, I informed Ty that I needed a run and he just whimpered, he wanted to spend more time with his mate, brave wolf, while me on the other hand is scared of rejection, Ty took off through the road that leads to the forest, I know he his taking us to our favourite spot.

Melissa's POV:

I can't seems to concentrate, since I ran into the room from that beautiful hot guy, I have been pacing up and down my room, I'm such an i***t, I mean who runs from a god, the most hottest guy I have ever met was standing right before me in his glory and I made a fool of myself, way to go Melissa!

Immediately he came closer to whispered into my ear I was totally lost, he smelled amazing just like the shirt I wore, all my senses flew out, his smell is intoxicating, I didn't hear anything he said to me and when he was smiling at me and was expecting for me to say something I freaked out, i knew I couldn't respond because this dummy wasn't paying attention.

It's his fault you know, how can a man be so beautiful, his pink soft lips was making me salivate, i knew he was a great kisser and I needed to feel his lips on mine, having dirty thoughts for someone's fiance was madness, I had to runaway from there before I fulfilled my shameless thoughts.

Now everyone it's going to think I'm crazy for running away like that, I climbed on my bed to hide my face for disgracing myself, I wonder what Juliana and her daughter Keira thinks of me, I need to leave this place before I cause further harm to these kind people. It seems I have become trouble for everyone close to me, this brought back the regrets of leaving aunt Becky in the hands of that monster.

I heard a knock on my door and I hesitated out of fear before responding.

"Come in" then Juliana walked in, I quickly stood up from the bed to apologize.

"Juliana I'm really sorry for ruining breakfast and creating a scene earlier on, you and your daughter are kind people and I won't want to be trouble to you guys, maybe it's time I leave this place" I was uncomfortable.

"What are you talking about Luna?" She was looking so confuse and I didn't bother to correct her choice of name.

"First I ruined breakfast for your future son in-law, secondly for running away like that, today was important in the life of your daughter Keira and I ruined it, so if you've planned on sending me away, I will leave immediately".

"Do you want to leave?" She asked me while smirking.

"No" I shyly answered, I had some thoughts last night and I think it was wise for me to stay away from Chrisville for some days to make things cool off, hopefully Derek would have calmed down.

"Good and you are not going anywhere" she said, smiling and the atmosphere became a bit calm and comfortable.

"Did you like him?" She raised her eyebrow as if daring me to deny it. I looked at her scared she must have seen through me.

"I don't think I have the right to like him"

"Why is that?" She was looking confused which also made me confused.

"Because he's engaged to Keira, your daughter and I'm not going to be a saboteur."

"What are you even saying Melissa, Alpha Tyler and Keira are not engaged, where did you hear that from?"

"I thought you said Tyler's mate was in this house, so I assumed" I was stuttering on my words.
