“The talisman! It’s missing!” I quickly jumped out of the water and went back to where I fought with the rogues. I searched for it but I couldn’t see it anywhere.
“They took it!” Ryker’s voice thundered inside my head.
After he said that, I didn’t hesitate to run to the direction where I saw them went even if I am as naked as the day I was born. My clothes got ripped when I suddenly transformed so I have to run faster to lower the risks of any human seeing me.
I ran as fast as I can but their scent suddenly vanished when I reached the other side of the mountain. I looked around while sniffing the air but I really can’t smell anything. It’s like they just vanished into thin air.
Could it be that they are also using a witch’s magic?
