Longing For YOU

I'm Ranielle, 29 years old a resident of neurology department in Massachusetts National Hospital, single and ready to mingle! No! Scratch that, I'm single and I am in no plans of being into any relationship at all, atleast not for now. It's been 2 years since I've started my residency and here are my family and bestfriend urging me to get married or atleast be on a relationship, as if I'd wilt if I didn't! I was not engrossed with pursuing my career that I chose to just shrug it off whenever they mention about relationships and marriage.  Unfortunately for me, my sister Ranicka and my bestfriend Ruwee seems to not stop bugging me about going on a date, blind date to be exact! So, there's this one night where they waited for me in front of the hospital, pulled me to shopping as they said they'd tag me along to there company's year end  party. I literally tried my best to stop them, but ended wearing this sea blue dress walking through the entrance of Cashew Hotel. Yeap, you've read that right, Cashew Hotel for the hotel's shape were that of a Cashew. Well anyway I was left with no choice but to roam this hotel function hall and pretend I blended well. I was busy eyeing the hotel's minimalist yet sophisticated interiors when I heard someone clearing their throat.  "Yes?" I asked nonchalantly. "Seems to me that it's a first time seeing such beauty." said the sexy man in front of me. Wait did I just say he was sexy? Well anyway remembering what my sister and bestfriend told me exactly I blurted "Uhm yeah, I was just invited by my sister. "And that would be?" Him probably asking who my sister is. "Ranicka Matthews." I said shortly. "Well, I didn't expect that. I thought Ranicka has a brother and not a sister." he teased. "Hmmm I guess that would be because of my name and perhaps having a bestfriend of a man." I responded which made him chuckle. "Mustn't be the first time?" which I answered with a nod. "Anyway my bad, my names Evan Bradley" extending his hand which I gladly accepted. "Pleasure to meet you sir, Rannielle Matthews". suddenly feeling a jolt of electricity from his hands. "Pleasure to meet you, so what do you do for living Ranielle. You know just wondering why your sister and your bestfriend are both working under my company and that you are not." I smiled with his statement because that was absolutely true. "I'm a Neurologist. To answer and to amend your thoughts, it's just that I feel like business wasn't for me." speaking as if I have even considered other profession than being a doctor.  We continued our conversation and got to know more about each other such as that he was allergic to peanuts and that I hate peanut butter myself. I thought the night would end with me going home with my sister and bestfriend, well perhaps I was wrong. I ended up being in one of the suite with Evan doing you know what.  What would happen after this? Did I just really give up like that easily. Will someone please tell me this was just a dream, but it wasn't.  So find out what happened with their love story when Evan suddenly disappeared from the world then suddenly announcing his marriage, and leaving pitiful Ranielle with her soon to be born son.
