Chapter Three

I couldn't believe what I was seeing right now. Seah is talking to this demon politely. "Oh, wow, that's great," Seah said, full of admiration while looking at the girl.  I just stood where I am because I don't freaking want to interfere with them so we can leave any minute. "Yeah, the Golden Retriever is a medium-large gun dog that was bred to retrieve shot waterfowl, such as ducks and upland game birds, during hunting and shooting parties. The name retriever refers to the breed's ability to retrieve shot game undamaged due to their soft mouth," she explained while looking at the baby dog. The baby golden retriever is so fluffy and cute because it is so big. It's a healthy dog, I guess. "Wow, that was amazing," Seah said while touching the dog softly. "But there's a bad side for Golden retriever," the girl paused her sentence that made Seah look worried. "They are prone to many health problems. As with any purebred dog, Golden Retriever has their share of health problems. Some health problems that a golden can be prone to include: Cancer, hip & Elbow Dysplasia, cataracts, epilepsy, hypothyroidism, Heart Disease, and Skin Conditions like allergies," the girl discussed. "That's bad," Seah said while looking at the dog sadly. "But don't worry because golden retriever's life expectancies are ten to twelve years," she explained.  That made Seah relieved. "If there's a bad side so I guess there's a good side?" she asked like she doesn't sure if there's have.  The girl nodded. "They are serious workers at hunting and fieldwork, as guides for the blind, and in search-and-rescue, enjoy obedience and other competitive events, and have an endearing love of life when not at work," she announced and Seah stared at her. "But for you, what's the good side of a golden retriever?" Seah asked seriously.  The girl looks at her, still no emotion in her eyes. "For me? None, because I don't like s**t. I don't like animals and I don't like dogs," she said honestly.  That makes us shocked. Seah and I couldn't utter any words from our mouths because of what she said. She is really unbelievable. She's working at the pet shop and she said those words. Then why the heck is she working at the pet shop if she doesn't like pets? What a stupid b***h is she? "T-then why are you working here?" Seah asked, still in shock.  The girl looks at Seah. "It is none of your business. So are you guys still buying, Indra?" she questioned, emotionless.  Seah looks at me uncomfortably and I nodded. We have our pity for these animals in this pet shop because of her. You wouldn't suit for your job if you didn't like it. And for me who's not an expert in animals, especially dogs, for me, she doesn't suit her job. "Indra?" And for the first time, I opened my mouth. The b*tch looked at me like she didn't know me. This is what I called a bipolar b*tch. She seduced me earlier by sucking her immortal black lollipop because it doesn't melt so I called that immortal but now she looks at me like she didn't do something nasty to me? "Yeah, I named this dog Indra," she answered. "Indra?" Seah asked. "Is there's something special on the named Indra?" she added politely. "Because I love Gods and Goddesses and Indra possesses rain and the meaning of Indra is possesses rain but in Hindu scripture, Indra is the ancient warrior God of the sky and air," she explained. One good thing for Seah is she is so smart and she loves watching, reading about greek mythology or Gods and Goddesses. "You are wrong," the girl said while looking at the baby dog who's now sleeping peacefully. "I named this dog Indra is because for me Indra means alone, tough, brave, and hardships. He's the only golden retriever here in the pet shop as you can see so he's alone, he is tough to live in this kind of life, waiting for his master while living in the cage, brave because he can handle those hardships in his life," she announced no emotion. "And if you will ask me where I found the name, Indra. I don't know either." And she shrugged her both shoulders. I really can't believe this woman because she can express her emotions by just uttering a word but her facial expression is the same. No emotions. I wanted to clap earlier about on how this baby dog named Indra. She explained the reason behind this name with like full of emotions on her words but not on her facial expression but how she uttered and explained the words made me want to clap for it. But then, she added a sentence that she didn't know where she found the name Indra makes me want to punch her. "Oh well, okay. We will name him Indra then," Seah recited so the conversation couldn't get any longer. We signed lots of papers before we can finally get Indra. Seah hugged the soft fluffy teddy bear named, Indra. "Ahm...lastly."  We stopped when Seah and I heard that b*tch's cold voice. "Hmm?" Seah asked while smiling.  I looked at her in disbelief when she forced a smile and said, "Take care." Seah smiled at her and nodded and with that, we left the pet shop. "He's so cute. Indra is so cute," Seah bubbly mentioned.  We're now at the car.  "Hello baby, Indra. I am your Mommy," Seah declared while laughing, and then she pointed at me. "And he is your Daddy." I smiled while driving. We went to the mall after to buy Indra's stuff like toys, diapers, milk, food, and anything he needs to stay alive. When we got home we let Indra run over the apartment so he would remember that this is his house and we are his family now. I sat on the sofa and Seah laid her head on my lap, and I combed her hair softly using my fingers and she closed her eyes. "The girl in the pet shop looks weird," she told and I laughed. "She seduced you. I saw it," she pouted. She opened her eyes to meet mine and I smiled. "Don't smile because she's seducing you," she mentioned in irritation. "My kind sunshine is jealous," I teased while stroking her hair.  She was about to answer me when Indra jumped to us and I laughed when Seah groaned at what Indra did. Seah immediately laughed at Indra and hugged him while kissing Indra's forehead. "My baby," Seah mumbled with full of emotions in her eyes. "I am a mother now and I immediately love him," she added with full of sincerity.  "Yeah, yeah," I recited with a smile. "But Draven if you will look for a part-time job. How about Indra?" she inquired red worriedly.  I looked at her and sighed. "Can we still afford our budget? Maybe you can't afford it, Seah," I explained remembering that we might get short of our budget and she just smiled.  She put down, Indra and the dog run away then, Seah touched my face. "Of course, we can handle it. You're about to finish your college degree, we're about to get married. Just be patient. We can do it." Her determined voice gave me a determination.  I smiled at her and nodded. The days passed quickly so we quickly became closer to Indra. Seah doesn't come to work every weekend like Sunday, so that's our bonding time. Seah and I decided to wander around the park so Indra can be able to run around at least in the park. I will admit that the first day we took care of Indra, it was difficult because Indra was naughty and always wanted to play. He always bites the sofa or maybe the pillows on the bed because Indra sleeps with us. We will get angry and then we will scold him but when we see him quiet and then just look at us we get sad that makes us want to hug Indra like we are his real parents. Indra has a cage inside the house when we are not there, we put a lot of water, food, and milk outside his cage because I have to go to school and Seah get to work. The only fun in the feeling of having a dog is when you come home from school or work and then you are tired, a dog will welcome you like they are patiently waiting for his Mom or Dad and then hug you and kiss you on the face. It's just nice to feel that Indra has become my comfort zone, it's just tiring and sometimes disgusting because of the size and the smell of Indra's poop because he's only two months old. Today is Saturday and because Seah is not home, I decided to wander around Indra again so he can be able to walk outside the apartment. We didn't bring a car and we just walk outside. "Behave, buddy, just follow me because you are too naughty and don't bite anyone," I reminded Indra and Indra just nodded as if he knew what I was saying so, I smiled. While I was walking around with Indra in the park, I am smiling because he is so cute and so fast that he looks like a teddy bear that you could hug anytime. I stopped when Indra suddenly run away from me so, I quickly chased him because he might bite every people who will pass by. I halted in running when I saw Indra with a woman in a white dress and she is caressing Indra gently. "She's a very nice dog, isn't she?" The woman asked softly.  I sighed and approached them. "I am very sorry, Miss, if Indra approached you," I apologized and she looked at me and smiled. "This dog will be the connection to yourself," she mentioned with a smile while I frowned.  I can't understand her and I have no intention to understand her.  "I wish you a smooth journey and hope you find the answer to your question," she told. I just realized that she was no longer with Indra and me. I don't know if she walks, swims, runs, or flies because Indra and I didn't notice her when she suddenly disappeared. I just shook my head and ignored the strange thing that happened. Maybe she is just crazy that she got to escape from the mental institution. I stared at Indra and caressed and kissed his head. "I told you not to run, what if you bite someone here when you ran? If that happened, your Mommy will be worried sick about you," I angrily scolded him like I was scolding my son because he did something bad. I smiled when Indra bowed as if he understood that what he did is wrong. I decided to go home and I taught Indra how to sit, stand, walk, standing and listen to us when he is not allowed to move and play. Indra learns quickly from my teachings so Seah always gives him rewards and snacks because she said his son is a good boy. Indra loves the water so we have no difficulty while bathing him. I smiled when I entered the room then I saw Indra and Seah, and they are both sleeping. She is hugging Indra. I grinned at the thought because we really look like a family if you will look at it. I am excited to graduate and find a job and marry Seah and build a family with her. Then, I happily sat next to them and hugged Indra and Seah, and went to sleep. The next day my forehead furrowed when a pillow hit me hard and woke me up. "Why don't you wake up? You're going to die there in bed, huh! Don't wake up anymore!" a loud voice shouted waking me up. "What's the matter, Seah?——what the f**k, Seah?" I said in irritation when she threw a pillow at me again so I looked at her badly and there I was stunned. I could hardly move in my bed and could not speak at what I am seeing right now as if my brain would not accept the person who woke me up. It was the woman who I met in the classroom before in the subject of history and who did something disgusting to me that woke me up right now. I couldn't believe looking at her. "Why are you here? How did you find out our address? Who are you? Where is Seah?" I queried and I couldn't believe what I saw when two twin children came out from behind, the female demon and the big dog Indra came out. "Why is Indra so big?" I asked with astonishment. It didn't take long for me to faint when they said that I was the father of the twins who came out and my wife was that female demon. Lord, help me. Again.
