Chapter 2: My Messy Life Part 2

*At the Makino Management*

Aoi: I'm kinda nervous.

Junya: Don't worry! Your totally going to be fine.

Aoi: Ok! I trusted you.

*At the CEO'S Office*

Junya: Dan!

Dan: Junya! Long time no see.

Junya: Long time no see.

Dan: Who is she?

Junya: She's the former friend of your Fiance.

Aoi: Wait what?

Junya: Don't you remember him Aoi? Look at him more deeply.

Aoi! Is literally the cutest thing ever. She did look Dan very deeply and then realized who he is.

Aoi: Oh!! I remember you now. Your the guy that Runa likes right?

Dan: Yeah! And she's my Fiance now.

Aoi: WHAT?? I thought you don't like her?

Junya: Hahaha... That's what I thought too.

Dan: Shut up Junya! You don't know the whole story.

Aoi: Then tell us then.

Dan: I don't know you enough to tell you my whole life story all of a sudden.

Aoi: But Junya is here.

Dan: I will only tell Junya but not when your here. Your Runa's former friend. Your definitely gonna tell her everything.

Aoi: No i am not. You don't know my whole story too.

Dan: Tell us yours then I will tell mine later.

Junya: ok! This is gonna be really interesting.

Aoi: Ahm...Yeah!! It's true that Runa is my former friend. I mean I actually thought she is my bestfriend. But things changed when she suddenly became really popular because of her love problems and because of you.

Junya: Please tell us more. What happened next?

Aoi: After she became really popular. She started not hanging out with me anymore then later than that she started bullying me. Like her and her new friends is literally bullying me most of the time. At first it was fine for me. Since it's not a major bullying. But as more time passes. The bullying keeps getting more and more intense that I decided to just ignore her and just hang out with other people who actually appreciates me.

Dan: Then??

Aoi: I actually think that you guys also hated me because you guys thought were still friends.

Dan: Actually we are.

Junya: Wow Dude! Your being too honest.

Dan: If she don't like that then she can't work in our company.

Aoi: Don't it's fine by me. At least his not a liar.

Junya: hahaha... Your also brutally honest Aoi!

Aoi: Am i really?

Junya: Definitely hahaha...

Dan: So, what happened next?

Aoi: Well the day before the graduation. I confessed everything to one of my cousin. I literally told her how much I hate Runa. She just stand there and listens. We are in my cousins room at that time. She's the only one left in their room. We have the same service so she told me to wait for her. Little did I know though ...

Dan: What??

Junya: ...

Aoi: Little did I know. The teacher next to my cousins classroom is listening to all my rants about Runa. The teacher told me to stop and I literally just looks at her and then leaves. It was very embarrassing but at least I let all my anger out somehow.

Dan: Is that it?

Aoi: Yeah! Because we never talk or see each other again after we all graduated.

Dan: Do you still hate her now?

Aoi: I don't know! Maybe! ?

Dan: Do you want me to call her now so the two of you can talk?

Aoi: Nah!! Please not now. I already goes through enough today.

Dan: What do you mean?

Junya: It's a Family matter. Just ask her again when she settled to her new life.

Dan: What do you mean?

Junya: She's looking for a job and she needed it right away.

Dan: So she wants to work here?

Junya: I am recommending her to you. Because she don't have money right now. I literally payed for her food earlier.

Aoi: Sorry again about you paying my food for me earlier.

Junya: No problem! I told you I just really want to help you.

Dan: What job do you want then? Aoi!!

Aoi: I love writing. That's like the only thing I'm good at. Is there any writer jobs I can take?

Dan: Right now all the writer position is full.

Aoi: s**t I'm f**k!

Junya: hahaha...Aoi your just too funny.

Dan: Junya you seem to like her a lot.

Junya: Isn't she entertaining though?

Dan: I don't know

Aoi: Wait! Is there a position for an Obituary Writer? I would gladly do it. I love biographies.

Dan: But those people is already dead? How is it fun?

Aoi: It's fun because even though they are already dead. They are still part of our history. I want more people to appreciate the dead people more.

Junya: Wow! That's highly inspiring Aoi!!

Aoi: Thanks!! ?

Dan: Aoi! Can you go outside for awhile? I want to talk with Junya alone. I'll talk to you later.

Aoi: Sure!

Aoi go outside the office while me and Dan continue talking to each other.

Junya: So what do you want to talk about?

Dan: Do you still like her?

Junya: I thought you forgotten about that?

Dan: How can I? Maybe this is your chance to be with her.

Junya: I completely forgot to tell you. Me and Gumi just become a thing 3 months ago. So I can't be with Aoi even if I want to

Dan: Are you freaking serious? Don't you dare hurt Gumi or I will ....

Junya: You will what?

Dan: Nothing...

Junya: I thought you already moved on from her Dan. That's why she decided to be with me after the two of you broke up.

Dan: But she never like me Junya. It's always been you. So I am begging you. Please don't hurt her again. I don't want to break her heart again.

Junya: Don't worry Dan! You know I will never hurt her. NEVER!!

Dan: I swear to God if you did hurt her I will be your enemy again. It's gonna be bad for both of us.

Junya: I know!

Dan: That girl Aoi might be the sole reason why our friendship will be broken.

Junya: If it did happen. Isn't it better for both of us.

Dan: What???

Junya: I'm just joking hahaha...

Dan: Stop joking please! You know how much I hated those.

Junya: Ok! Fine!

Dan: You can go outside now and let Aoi in.

Junya: Are you going to hire her?

Dan: Since you recommended her. How can I say no to that. I know how much good you are when it comes to people with so much potential.

Junya: So you do think she has a huge potential too?

Dan: Of course not! Just go!

Junya: Ok! Sir!!

Dan: Stop calling me Sir! Your not even working here.

Junya: That's because I'm a proud Freelancer. Btw...

Dan: By the way what?

Junya: Please don't fall in love to Aoi as well. I know many guys who fell for her after just a little talk with her.

Dan: There is no freaking way that will ever happen. She's not even pretty.

Junya: I don't think so!

Dan: ...

I left after what Dan just said. I wonder why people keeps saying that Aoi is ugly. She's literally one of the most good looking people I have even know in my entire life. Maybe I just think that because I like her.

*Aoi goes inside Dan's Office alone*

Dan's POV

I never tell this to anybody else. Including my bestfriend Junya but, I always been very interested in knowing Aoi even before. Just like she said earlier. I do think Runa is bullying her. I saw her looking at me many times before whenever we had a chance of running into each other. I already know at that time that she's very sad. I actually keep thinking if I could talk to her just for a little while to reassure her that everything is going to be fine. But I know she will get bullied more if she talks to me and I don't want that to happen. So I just keep silence even though I know how much she is suffering.

I don't know what I think about her at this time. But I hope I am not wrong thinking that she really is innocent back then.

Aoi: So, can I work here or not?

Dan: You can.

Aoi: Yey!! Thank you so much. Your as kind as I thought.

Dan: What do you mean?

Aoi: Well I always thought that you are a very kind person and I also think that you don't like Runa back then. I can't believe you ended up with her though. That's just too funny for me now. But if you really like her then I can't blame you about it.

Dan: Your right!! I don't really like her.

Aoi: What? Then why are you together then?

Dan: My parents and her parents is a very close friend.

Aoi: Oh! I did remember her telling me that her house and your house is just next to each other.

Dan: Yes! And now I am stuck with her. I am only engage to her because of both of our parents shipping us since we were kids.

Aoi: Wow! That really sucks. Mine was the opposite.

Dan: What do you mean?

Aoi: Nothing! Just me being delusional. Don't worry about it.

Dan: I still wanna know about it.

Aoi: Maybe when we know each other well I can tell you.

Dan: Sure!

Aoi: So can I be an Obituary Writer?

Dan: What choice do I have? If that's what you really want.

Aoi: Thank you, thank you, thank you! Sir! Dan! (While shaking my hands) I promise I will be a good employee of yours.

Dan: Can you let go of my hands.

Aoi: Sorry! Haha.. (Aoi let go of my hands)

Dan: There is only 2 people working in our Obituary Section so you working there will be a good help for both of them.

Aoi: Thank you again Sir! I will never disappoint you.

Dan: Make sure of that.

Aoi: If I ever disappointed you. Just tell me Sir. I will quit my job or you can fire me right away.

Dan: Are you sure about that?

Aoi: Since I am getting this job without an interview. I think having that condition is fine. I just hope I have enough money to buy my own house at that time or just having my own apartment.

Dan: You don't have a place to stay?

Aoi: Yes! I am staying at the Manga Cafe right now.

Dan: Wow! Are you sure your ok to stay there?

Aoi: It's totally fine Sir! It's also very cheap. It's the only thing I could afford right now.

Dan: Here take this.

Aoi: 1000§!!

Dan: Use that to look for a better place to stay. If you need more just ask me. I will help you.

Aoi: But this is too much Sir!

Dan: It's your Salary in advanced. So don't worry too much about it. it's supposed to be your Salary for the entire 3 months. Make sure to use it well so you will never run out of it.

Aoi: I guess I also need a part time job. I will ask Junya about it. Maybe I can work to the restaurant he works too.

Dan: Yeah Maybe! The two of you should go now. Runa will arrived any moment now.

Aoi: Definitely Sir!

Dan: Your job will start at 8am tomorrow. Don't be late ok?

Aoi: I'm definitely not gonna be late Sir!

She left after that. I can't believe I met her again after a long time. I'm still not sure if she's really innocent but I really hope I'm not wrong of thinking she is definitely innocent. Somehow I feel so much better today.
