Chapter 1
I woke up feeling like crap, my friends and I were partying all night like we have been doing for the past two months, today is the last time we're going out again, we're celebrating me turning 18 today and I want to get the party out of my system before I go to college. I got accepted into Yale, and I am planning on working my ass off for the whole four years so I don't get time to be partying during college I'm planning on being a business person like my dad. See he owns a lot of corporations so he's super-rich and his name is famous worldwide my father never understands why I want to be getting a job and going to college when he has all the money in the world to support me, but I don't want or need his money, to everyone I might be a spoiled little rich girl but I want to work for what I own just like my mom did " Claire breakfast ready" I look up to see Arthur my butler with food on a tray.       "Happy birthday," he said to me, I smiled at him, "I see you have been out late again" my smile immediately turns to a frown, "I was just partying with my friends", and tonight is the last time so you have nothing to worry about ok." He sighed your father is downstairs he says he has something urgent to talk to you about. ''I immediately jumped up and rushed downstairs." my dad is never home he's always on some important business trip, he only comes back when he has important news." I jump into his arm. "hey baby girl, happy birthday I got you something. " I look at him and he takes out his pocket a necklace with a beautiful purple ruby with diamonds around it on a silver chain it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. " dad that looks super expensive I can't accept that. " honey that's nonsense you are my world and I would give you anything now please turn around so I can see how this looks on you. " I turned around " beautiful' he said you look just like your mother. I smile remembering how my mother used to look and it brings joy to my heart that I remind him of her. ''        So what you gonna do for your birthday today my father said breaking me out of a trance I smiled "hanging out with the twins I said my father knew my friends, parents they worked at his company Lewis international which was my last name by the way. ''My father said that's good "because he's gonna be going to Virginia for a business meeting and he wanted to drop by to make sure I wasn't going t be spending birthday alone. " Yo don't have to be worried about me daddy I'm going to be okay I have my friends and Arthur." he smiled. Dad what did you want to talk to me about Arthur said you have something urgent to say. " Oh yeah," I will be getting married tomorrow. My eyes open wide " What".
