Chapter 1
Everyone knew him. The handsome guy, who would've been popular if he didn't always show up looking like he'd been in a fight. Which, to be fair, he probably had. It was common knowledge, that he was in some sort of gang, but people tended to exaggerate quite a bit.
Caleb, the guy in question, was a tall guy with black hair just long enough to barely cover his eyebrows, and some stunning blue eyes. Not that anyone ever noticed his eye color, since everyone was too afraid to meet his gaze. His body was muscular, tan and lean, being the cause of quite a few admiring looks from girls, though they'd immediately look away if he noticed them.
It wasn't that it bothered him all that much, since he knew he should stop getting into fights, but old habits were hard to break, and he felt his actions were justified.
She was a pretty girl, with long blonde hair that she often dyed in different colors. She didn't pay too much attention to when her roots started showing, though, so sometimes she'd end up with blonde hair and colored tips. Not a bad look, actually.
Noone really paid much attention to her, aside from maybe looking at her hair or trying to flirt a bit with her, since she always seemed disinterested. She had friends, of course, but like her they were commonly referred to as nerds. Difference was, that they were actually the studious type. Not that she minded at all, since they were still good friends, but they might mind if they found out she didn't really need to study. She pretended to work hard on her studies, often using studying as an excuse, but fact was that she simply didn't.
Melia, as her name was, was slender and about average height for a girl. Her wavy hair, which she preferred long, almost reached her mid thigh, meaning she usually kept it in a high ponytail, to keep it out of the way. Her body was slightly toned, but her way of dressing covered it up pretty good. She always wore at least a loose t-shirt and some slightly loose jeans to school, which didn't compliment her body all that much. Her striking amethyst eyes, were hidden behind dull green contacts, to avoid unwanted attention, and her skin was a bit pale, being unable to really tan properly.
