Ace's POV:

"Ace, wake up we are here" Mason shook me and I slowly opened my eyes.

We were back to New York after another week in London. After that night when we captured the attackers everything was fine.

The attackers just thought that they can gain reputation for their new gang by attacking us.

But they were damn wrong.

Me and Mason made sure that everything was alright and made few deals with other gangs and then came back here.

"Where we are going?" I asked Mason sleepily. He took his bag and turned to look at me.

"To the gym. They caught few people from Blurred Souls. Haven't Chance told you about it?" Mason asked me as we sat at our car. I shrugged and started the engine and luckily Mason didn't push me any further.

I haven't spoken with Chance for 2 weeks. Ugh, and the reason is stupid messages that I was getting.

The first week I seriously hadn't got time to talk. I just told Mason to talk with Chance and others because I couldn't handle it at the moment.

In second week, I was busy too. But if you compared to the last week I had free time. Still, I didn't call her.

I saw few missed calls from her but I didn't call her. I wonder what she thought when I didn't call her back.

I parked the car and we entered the gym. We went to the usual place where we interrogate people.

Jason and Blair were standing there. "Hey there Londoners" Jason said and I gave him a bro hug and Blair just waved at me.

"Where is Max and Chance?" I asked curiously. "They are inside. Trying to get something out of that guy" Jason said and pointed to the window.

We went close to it and looked at Chance and Max who were speaking with the guy. We can see hem but they can't see us. From the inside it looks like a mirror.

Chance was getting angry I can feel it. Max also was frustrated. She grabbed the collar of that boy’s shirt and said something to him.

He answered back to them and it wasn't something good because Max punched him.

Chance went to the table and took and took one of her knifes from there. She walked close to the guy and started to trace the lines with the knife. Boy was scared now.

"How can Chance do it? Honestly, I don't think I can ever be like this. She is acting so emotionless" Blair said. Jason nodded. "Yeah, it is hard to do it I think. But it is Chance we are talking about. She is still a mystery for me." He said.

She is a mystery. You can't know what she feels or what she thinks about in certain situations.

"I know but around us she mostly acts so emotional. She still wasn't sure on taking me to the mission because she thought that I can damage my stitches. But know she is nearly stabbing that guy" Blair said.

They had mission. I didn't know about it. I must talk about everything that happened in last few weeks with Chance.

"It is Chance. She is really hard to predict." Jason said once again.

Soon Chance and Max came out of the room both of them frustrated. “If others can't get anything out of him too I am going to kill him" Chance said and Max agreed with him.

"Oh, hey guys I didn't know that you will come here" Max said and looked at me and Mason. "Yeah Mason weren't you coming tonight?" Chance asked Mason.

"We finished earlier and the plane was ready so we just came" Mason said. We all decided to go and change at home and then go somewhere to eat.

"How was London?" Chance asked me when we entered our room. I shrugged. "Tiring, and rainy." I said and started to empty my bag.

Chance went to the bathroom to take out her wig and lenses. She was interrogating that guy as Rose. Just in case if he escapes this place or something.

We didn't say a word to each other. I was busy with emptying my bag and Chance was getting ready.

It really bothers me when we can't speak. Speaking is the best way to let others know what you feel.

"Chance" I said and walked to bathroom and leaned on the bathroom wall. She was applying makeup.

Chance stopped and looked at me for a moment and then went on doing her thing. "I am really sorry that I haven't answered your calls. The situation was really hard to deal with. I am sorry I should have called you back" I said and waited for her reaction.

It was easy to understand that she was hurt by my actions. She didn't say anything to me and put her make up things down.

Chance was ignoring me. Like I did to her.

"I am an asshole. I know. I am the biggest asshole in the world but please forgive me?" I said the last part more like a question.

She hesitated for a minute and turned to look at me. "You sure are asshole. " she said while chuckling. "But you are my asshole" she said and wrapped her arms around my neck. I hugged her too and we stayed like this.

Taking in every inch of each other while hugging.

"So, ready to go?" I said and put my arm around her waist. Chance smiled and nodded.

Guys were all ready and were waiting for us. Max had already started cars engine so we just sat and drove of to some restaurant.

"I am dying from hunger." Max whined as we ordered the food. "Just wait few more minutes" Jason said tired of his complaining's.

We talked about everything that happened over this 2 weeks and Chance told me about the attack and how she learned it from Peter guy.

Still it doesn't change the fact that he wants to get Chance.

"I also made him promise that he will take me and Blair to the club. If he takes us there I would totally get everything out of him" Chance said and Mason nodded.

"Also, if he doesn't tell anything we could take him hostage and make him speak" Jason said and I agreed with it. "I would be the first one to question him." I said and Chance rolled her eyes at me.

"Sure, you are just looking for an excuse to punch that poor guy" Chance said and everyone chuckled.

"What do you want me to do? Go and be friendly? Never!" I said dramatically. Chance lightly punched my arm and laughed.

"You are just like a little kid" she said and messed my hair. I huffed in annoyance but chuckled eventually.

Soon waiter brought us food and Max was very happy about it. After eating the food, we decided to take walk around the park.

"Hey guys, me and Tony agreed to meet up tonight. I got to go" Max said as we were walking in the park. "Maybe you could invite him to walk with us. "Mason suggested. Chance nodded. "Yeah I would like to meet him. After all he if the boyfriend of my best friend" she said.

Max chuckled at that and took his phone out to call Tony. We continued to walk and soon we saw him. He was tall and had blonde-like hair. "Hi people" he said as he came closer to us.

"Guys, this is Tony. Tony, this is Mason, Blair, Jason, Chance and Ace" Max introduced us and we all waved at him.

"It is nice to finally meet all of you. Max often talks about you" Tony said as we continued to walk. He and Max was holding hands. Now Mason was the only one who hadn't got partner.

"Mason, you feel good there?" Chance asked him playfully. We all chuckled but Mason smirked. "Yep, great. I like my life as only one who doesn't need partner" he said.

We all laughed at it and continued to chat while walking. Soon we saw kids’ playground and decided to go there. I know it is not something that grown-ups do. But who cares? It is your life and you are in control.
