Chapter 11

Elkirah’s POV

Zeus wasn’t kidding when he said that he would take me out on a date.

He has set a card aside in the bed table and when I woke up this day, a smile was tugging at my lips with the note that Zeus have written that read:

“Good Morning My Luna,

I’ll make this day special and mark this as our first official date.”

I felt happy knowing that he took the time of his morning to write this note to me. In his own handwriting, which looked neat and orderly. His penmanship was beautiful.

While mine was just like a Doctors handwriting, well, we all know how that part goes.

Laughing to myself at the expense of my own accord, I continued to scan the room for any signs of him.

To no avail, he was not here. I did notice something that caught my attention while my eyes roamed around.

I noticed a carefully placed box at the foot of the bed, It was a white box with a black bow tied to it. The brand Chanel was imprinted on the box and it was quite big for me to guess what’s in it.

This one didn’t come with a note, but instead my name on it and a bouquet of sunflowers.

Getting lost in my thoughts once again, I remember that sunflowers is a symbol of Adoration and Loyalty.

Boy I do hope it’s true, only time can tell if Zeus will be consistent.

After all, guys were always just good at the start.

Shaking myself away from the negative thoughts, I began to appreciate the box and made my way to open it to see what’s inside.

It was an embroidered cotton dress which looked more lacy but also looked comfortable to wear due to its style. It was a sleeveless white dress. Looking at the details, it also has a slit at the side which came up to the thighs respectfully without being too showy.

I’ll admit, he has taste. To top it off, there was another note after I took out the dress. It was placed below the dress that’s why I’ve only just noticed it now.

“Check the closet room and pick what you want to wear as your shoes. You’ll always be the most beautiful in my eyes.”

Almost speed running my way into the closet room, I almost gasped at what I saw!

There were tons of dresses, shoes, jewelries, and some other stuff in the room which was too good to be true. This was a really big gift and I’m not sure I can accept it because we’ve only just known each other and here I am standing in a room with his side and mine parallel with each other along with big mirrors that led to the top of the ceiling.

I can only dream of this for the life of me back at my pack house before. I only kept to the bare minimum because I liked dressing comfortably in my own phase.

I guess since I’m the Luna of this pack now, I have to also be presentable when there are meetings that will take place or new packs to make alliances with.

Scanning my eyes yet again at this room trying to find if there are platform heels somewhere, which I liked because they were very comfortable to wear and they also added to my height which is always a plus since Zeus towered over me as I am only up to his shoulders when I’m standing. I wonder how it feels like to be hugged by him knowing that he’ll wrap me in his arms and be all cuddly makes me giddy and happy.

I found a white platform heels/sandals which was embroidered with crystals. I guess this is as subtle as it comes when it comes to my new life in this pack.

I made my way to the bathroom and showered after I got everything ready.

Making my down on the stairs I passed by someone who greeted me “Hello Luna, please follow me & proceed this way to the car.”

He looked sort of like a butler/assistant. As he led me to where he we should be headed.

“Hello,” I greeted in return.

“How’s life in this pack been?” I asked being the ever curious one at that.

“It’s been fine, you’re really lucky that the Alpha is your mate. Normally he would kill anyone who trespassed on our territory because when we let them live, they could be disguised as someone else that will bring harm to this pack.” He said.

This reply was not new, there were enemies everywhere, the rogue problem now seemed small compared to what had hunted me in the forest.

Seeing my worried look, he quickly reiterated that the Alpha Zeus is taking care of it so that I won’t be stressed in dealing with such matters.

Well, I can handle a problem or two if that’s what he’s afraid of. I can work normally like a normal person. A title is only just that if I don’t live up to the duties that it comes with and being a Doctor by profession, I manage my stress very well.

I can’t blame Zeus for not seeking help from me as we don’t really know each other that well. Hence, the date scheduled for today.

I stayed silent and decided that I will not let this sour my mood as I know that it isn’t much of a big deal that a little communication can’t solve.

He then proceeded to lead me to the car and let me tell y’all.

This was one hell of a car. It was like an auto-bot with big guns (I kid you not). It was a raptor with big wheels that looked so handsome I can almost squeal in delight.

I love cars, and their details. I can only hope that this car is beautiful inside and out.

I haven’t been able to buy my own car as my Dad always lent me one of his cars if I’ll ever go to town.

They were also a classic but for me, big cars protect you from unwanted impacts when accidents happen like suddenly going SOLO on a light pole.

That only happened when I was practicing to drive when I was 17 years old.

Eric was the one who led me to the car and I only came to know his name as it was in his nameplate on the left corner of his suit. He also drove me to God knows where seeing that I’m not familiar to this town.

I wonder what surprise lies ahead.

I can’t wait to see.
