OLIVIA’S POV. As soon as I stepped into the Emergency room, my eyes met with a lot of new faces—When I had come to see Emmy, they weren't so much in there at least, I knew them all by their faces, the similar worried look they had plastered on their faces but this time around the number had increased. There so no time to waste, I had people’s life on the line. I was alsowelcomed by the not-so-awful smell. I didn't know what to classify it under—whether good or bad. At least, I was grateful the room wasn't smelling like fresh blood or sweat, it just had this smell of the mixture of various disinfectants. I quickly yet carefully attended to my next patient, good enough for me it wasn't something that bad. He just had a minor kitchen accident—A burn from a hot spoon. “a…aw.” He murmured
