Chapter Thirteen

I thought Chad and I would go home and continue what we’d started in our heated dressing room encounter.
Nope.
I knew Chad was turned on by me in that underwear, but as we drove back from the clothing store, his demeanor changed. He went from Daddy to just being a plain old Dad. No more growling, heated touches, and all of his alpha-male characteristics vanished. In fact, he barely spoke at all. When we pulled into his driveway, he silently got out of his Mustang and went straight to the door. Didn’t even turn around to see if I was following. And after the silent treatment in the car, I was terrified of him rejecting me completely.
