I was so thankful Misha was on my side. I don’t know what I would have done if she wouldn’t have been there to open the door for me. I wouldn’t have attacked Jake, but I needed him to know I wasn’t taking any s**t off him. He may be my mate, but he will not run my life. I will never let another man run my life.
I don’t know how long I ran through the woods, but it didn’t feel nearly long enough. I had so much anger and confusion built up in me from Shawn possibly being around and being the root of the Cain’s problems. Then on top of Shawn I now have Jake playing Caveman on me.
