Third Person POV Liam Hunter, the heir to the throne of the wolf community and the most powerful Alpha of his time, sat in his grand study, his piercing golden eyes scanning the report in his hands. The news of a human girl, Olivia James, threatening the wolf community’s secrecy had reached him, and he was not pleased. A human—a mere human—had dared to challenge the authority of one of the packs under his reign. Not only that, but she had wielded her influence as a social media personality to bolster her defiance. The audacity of her actions stirred his wolf, the beast within growling with irritation. Liam’s jaw tightened as he slammed the report onto his polished mahogany desk. “This cannot go unchecked,” he muttered, his voice cold and commanding, reverberating through the room. His Beta, Ian Philip, stood in the corner of the study, awaiting orders. Liam turned to him, his expression steely. “Contact Alpha Jason immediately. Tell him to send Olivia James to my kingdom without delay. I will deal with her personally.” Ian gave a respectful bow, already reaching for his communication device. “Yes, Your Highness.” Liam leaned back in his leather chair, his sharp features illuminated by the soft glow of the fireplace behind him. “And Ian,” he added, his tone heavy with authority, “ensure I have a full dossier on her life in the human world. Her followers, her reach, her influence—everything. If she is a threat, I need to know how far that threat extends.” “Consider it done,” Ian replied, his voice calm but obedient. Liam’s fingers drummed lightly against the armrest of his chair. Beyond being the Alpha Prince, Liam Hunter was a force to be reckoned with even in the human world. His company, Hunter Corp, dominated industries across the globe, and he was consistently listed among the wealthiest individuals in Forbes magazine. His business acumen and strategic brilliance gave him immense power over humans and wolves alike. If Olivia James thought she could outwit him, she was sorely mistaken. But beneath the surface of his cold and commanding demeanor lay a man scarred by loss. His fated mate had tragically died in a car accident just two days before their wedding. The grief had hardened him, transforming the once-loving and compassionate Alpha into someone rough, distant, and unyielding. The world viewed him as an untouchable enigma, a man whose icy exterior shielded the pain he refused to show. Alpha Jason sat in his office, carefully crafting his expression of concern as Olivia entered. Her sharp eyes narrowed, and her body language screamed suspicion. She didn’t trust him, not that he blamed her. He had made her life within the pack more difficult than necessary, but this time, he intended to play his cards right. “Olivia,” Jason began, his tone serious, “your aunt’s medicines are almost finished. We need to restock them immediately to ensure her treatment continues without interruption.” Olivia frowned. “So send someone to get them.” Jason sighed, feigning patience. “This isn’t just about fetching supplies. The palace has the best medical resources in the kingdom, and they’ll only hand over the medicine to someone who understands her treatment needs. That’s you, Olivia. You’re her family, and you’re the one they’ll trust.” Her frown deepened, but the mention of her aunt clearly struck a chord. “The palace?” she echoed. “Why would I need to go all the way there for medicine?” Jason leaned forward, his tone softening as he tried to sound reasonable. “The warriors will escort you for safety. It’s a quick trip. Think of your aunt—this is for her well-being.” For a moment, Olivia looked torn, her distrust warring with her love for her aunt. Finally, she exhaled sharply and nodded. “Fine. I’ll go. But I’m only doing this for Aunt Emma.” Jason’s lips curled into a small, triumphant smile. “Good. Be ready within the hour. The 0ur warriors will ensure your safe arrival.” “She needs to learn humility, and I trust no one more than you to teach her what it means to respect the wolf community.” The palace awaited her, and so did Liam Hunter—the unyielding Alpha Prince. Though he had not yet been officially crowned due to the not finding his Luna, he was already regarded as the king of the wolf community. His unmatched strength, tactical brilliance, and commanding presence made him the natural leader, and the packs respected him as such. Jason allowed himself a sly grin. “The palace will teach her what we couldn’t,” he muttered to himself. . She was walking straight into a confrontation with the most powerful Alpha of their time. If she thought she could stand against the wolves, she was about to face a rude awakening.
