Threat to wolf community

One of the maids approached me Alpha want you to serve juice. “ for both him and his fiancée, Nancy.” Nancy—the pack’s princess and Aiden’s supposed future Luna. Just the thought of them together made my stomach turn. But an idea sparked in my mind, and a sly smile crept onto my face. I made the juice as requested, but with a little twist—I added a generous amount of baking soda to both glasses. The concoction would surely have them running to the washroom for the next two days. As I carried the tray to their quarters, I couldn’t help but smile internally, feeling a surge of satisfaction. This was my small act of rebellion, and it felt incredibly rewarding. Let’s see how the mighty Alpha and his beloved Nancy handle this. As I handed over the juice, I caught the annoying smirk forming on Aiden’s face, as if he thought he had me exactly where he wanted. Later that evening, I heard whispers around the pack. Word spread quickly—both Aiden and Nancy had been admitted to the hospital. Apparently, whatever was in that juice had done more damage than I intended. I bit my lip, realizing I might have gone a bit overboard with the baking soda. Oops. Maybe I added more than I thought. Still, I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself. The image of both of them suffering in the hospital was oddly satisfying. Serves them right for their arrogance. Though I hadn't planned on hospitalizing them, I couldn't deny that a part of me was thoroughly enjoying the turn of events. Note to self: Next time, go a little lighter on the “extra ingredient.” After finishing my tasks for the day, I was ready to collapse onto the small bed in my room when one of the maids approached me, her expression serious. “You’re summoned to the meeting hall,” she said. I sighed, already sensing that something was about to go down. Great. When I reached the meeting hall, it was filled with people—elders, judging by their stern expressions. At the center of it all stood Aiden’s father, his gaze fixed firmly on me “Did you add anything to my son’s juice, Olivia?” Aiden’s father asked, his voice sharp and accusing as the room fell silent. I stood tall, meeting his gaze without a trace of fear. “Yes, I did. Of course, I added some sugar. What else would I add?” His eyes narrowed. “Then how can two people end up in the hospital from sugar in their juice, human? Did you add anything else?” “No, I didn’t,” I said firmly, but before I could say more, one of the elders chimed in. “The doctor said there was baking soda in their food.” I tilted my head slightly, feigning confusion. “Baking soda? I didn’t even know it was baking soda! Look, I’m not accustomed to household work. I’ve been living in the human world, independently. Your son forced me to work here. I had no interest in doing this for even one minute! If a mistake happened, it was purely accidental. I didn’t plan anything.” One of the elders leaned forward, their tone dripping with authority. “Do you know what the punishment is for harming an Alpha, girl?” I let out a dry laugh, crossing my arms. “Punishment? I’m not part of your pack. I’m just a human. You can’t give me any punishment. And honestly, if anyone here needs to be disciplined, it’s your son, sir, notme". I straightened my shoulders and met his gaze firmly. “Sir, with all due respect, I’m not here for my own interest. I came here because of my aunt, to make sure she gets the treatment she needs. But think about this carefully.” I paused, letting my words sink in, and then continued, my tone calm but deliberate. “I’m a social influencer, with a massive following. If anything happens to me, my fans will notice. They’ll ask questions. They’ll demand answers. And if the truth comes out, it won’t just affect me—it will affect your pack and the entire wolf community.” A murmur rippled through the room, and I could see the elders exchanging uneasy glances. I pressed on, my voice unwavering. “The world outside is changing, sir. Humans and wolves might live separately, but our actions ripple beyond our borders. If you value the secrecy and safety of your pack, you’ll think twice before taking any drastic measures.” Aiden’s father frowned, his jaw clenching as he stared at me. I could feel the tension in the room, but I didn’t back down. I wasn’t just fighting for myself—I was fighting for my aunt and my freedom. The elders exchanged looks, clearly weighing my words. Finally, the former Alpha spoke, his voice calm but authoritative. “You’ve made your point, human. You can go back to your room,” he said, dismissively waving his hand. I didn’t miss the subtle irritation in his tone, but I held my head high. Without another word, I turned and walked out of the meeting hall, refusing to show any sign of weakness. As I made my way back to my room, I couldn’t help but feel a small sense of victory. They might be powerful, but I wasn’t about to let them push me around.
