CHAPTER ONE
As she rushed to class, Samantha's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of her upcoming exam. She had been studying for weeks, but she still felt unprepared.
As she turned a corner, she collided with a handsome stranger. Apologetic, they both reached out to steady each other.
"I'm so sorry," Samantha said, her cheeks flushing.
"No need to apologize," the stranger replied, smiling. "I was the one who wasn't watching where I was going."
As they stood there, Samantha couldn't help but notice the stranger's piercing blue eyes and chiseled features. She felt a flutter in her chest, which she quickly attributed to embarrassment.
"I'm Alex," the stranger said, holding out his hand.
"Samantha," she replied, taking his hand in hers.
As they shook hands, Samantha felt a spark of electricity run through her body. She quickly pulled her hand back, feeling a little shaken.
"It was nice running into you," Alex said, smiling.
Samantha laughed. "Literally."
As they parted ways, Samantha couldn't help but wonder if she would see Alex again. She felt a sense of excitement at the prospect, which she quickly pushed aside.
After all, she had an exam to focus on.
But as she sat in class, Samantha couldn't shake the feeling that her unexpected encounter with Alex was only the beginning of something special.
