“Stone, have you found her?” he asked. There was no need for him to ask who was on the other end of the radio call, it could only be one of the two constables, they were the only other people in the village with radios.
“Cellar!”
The single word was gasped out by a voice that was in pain, a lot of pain. Nathan didn’t know the source of the pain, or even which of the two constables was in pain, but that didn’t matter just then, what did was that someone was injured, presumably in the cellar.
