Ten minutes after Louisa and Jennifer arrived at the room where the body of Jean Martin lay, a small group assembled in the hotel’s foyer.
Nathan looked around the members of the search party and wished he had been able to get more people. He also wished that he didn’t have to rely so heavily on civilians for help. The hotel was not huge, at best it could be considered small to medium, but there were safety issues that had to be considered in addition to everything else; they were, after all, looking for a suspected murderer.
The last thing he wanted was to have someone, especially a civilian, hurt because they had come across Elizabeth Creek/ Laura Dennings without sufficient support.
