6 Nathan ignored his stomach as it grumbled about the lack of a proper breakfast — three slices of toast had done little more than blunt his hunger — and concentrated on the email he was getting ready to send. He was still in the dining room, as were the other guests and staff yet to be interviewed by Constable Havers, who had got around to introducing himself only after he had finished everything else he had to say. It felt strange to be on the other side of a situation he was so familiar with.
