“Who is that Sis?” Helena asked.
“ I truly don't know.”
“Could it be who I'm thinking?”
“Huh! It is a female voice but there's something about that voice. I think I have heard that voice before.” Emilia said thinking aloud.
“But have you offended anyone lately? Or while in office? “.
“None I can think of. Grace and Daniel are the only ones I can think of. But I believe they are fine now.”
“Hmmm! You have to be careful Sis. I don't like the sound of this.”
“I will. Help me with the baby while I fix us dinner.”
“Lover of culinary skills “, Helena said as she laughed and took the baby from Emilia Clinton...
“Hahaha! But I'm good at what I do “. Emilia boasts.
“ thank you for coming Helena, I appreciate your love and sacrifices “.
“But what are sisters for if not for things like this. You have forgotten how you took care of me and always came to my rescue when I sneaked out?”
They both laughed loud.
“But you are head strong and always the life of the party.”
“ We can't all be the same “ Helena said as she rolls her eyes.
“Let me fix us something to eat.” Emilia Clinton goes to the kitchen….
While they eat, the Phone rings and Emilia Clinton picks up.
“Hello!”
“How are you and my baby doing?” The caller asked.
Emilia Clinton recognized the Caller's voice , “Why do you want to know?
She's fine. Can you end the call now?”
The Caller inhaled and exhaled and ended the call”.
“Sis, please take it easy on yourself. Don't let this trouble your heart.
“It can't, this is nothing.”
“So what do you intend to do after the baby is grown?.” Helena Clinton enquired.
“One step at a time Helena. But sincerely I can't say for now. One thing I intend to do is, explore the world. Travel, and have fun. I will shed this old me and bring out a new me”.
“Now you are talking. Hahaha!
Go, sis….”
They both laughed hysterically.

On hearing Daniel Jayson's achievements, Grace found her way to his company and tried to reconnect.
Each time she went there, she was not allowed to see Daniel Jayson because seeing him was strictly by invitation or appointment.
so she decided to hang around to see when he would come out from his office.
After waiting for 3 hours and 25 minutes, he showed up.
“Hello! Daniel.”
Daniel turned to see who called.
“Grace! Good to see you.” Daniel Jayson surprised to see her..
“ I've been trying to reach you but it's been difficult. How have you been?
“I'm well. You are looking good.”
“Thank you.” Grace blushed..
“Where do you work now?” Daniel Jayson asked..
“I work with a bank .”
“That's good. So what brings you here?”
“Daniel. Why do you ask such question? Have you forgotten me so soon?”
“Grace….please let's not go there, I have a meeting to attend in an hour from now and I need to go prepare.”
“Can we talk on the phone?” Grace pleaded,
“That's not necessary “. He replied as he entered his car and drove off.
“Why has he become so cold towards me? What is wrong with him? Well, I have tried.”
Daniel Jayson was invited to a party where high-profile men and women were in attendance. He was greatly honored and many wanted his autograph.
Ladies queuing and planning on how to get in touch with him. He was the talk of the party.
As he stepped out from the party to have a bit of fresh air and take some calls, his eyes caught Grace walking towards him and smiling.
“Hi handsome.” She called.
“Grace! didn't know you were here”.
“Yeah! I am here. I came with couple of friends.”
“Interesting. Glad you are having fun.”
“I'm I?, let's just say, you have refused to look in my direction and I am not happy about it,” Grace said pretending to be angry.
“Can you stop this Grace. What has gotten over you? 3 years is a long time to grow.
Grow already. “
“That's an insult Daniel. I refuse this. Take it back.”
“Okay. I'm sorry. “
“That's more like it now.” Grace smiled.
Daniel Jayson observed her as she walked closer to him and embraced him.
“Stop this! You are creating a scene.”
He pulled her away and she started crying.
“Daniel, you are heartless. what did I do that you treat me this way. “
“Here is my card. I am inviting you to dinner tomorrow, text me your number. I will text the location when I'm ready. We can talk better there.”
He said as he handed Grace his complimentary card.
“Thank you. “ She took it and walked back to the party Hall smiling.
Daniel Jayson looked at her and shook his head in disbelief.
“What has gotten into Grace? Why is she this desperate?” He asked himself.
The next day, Daniel Jayson texted Grace at 5:00 that evening on the location he had booked. Dabble. A cozy bar in the heart of the city of New York. He asked they meet by 6:00.
Grace was in the hallway by 5;50pm, walking in to sit pretty and wait for Daniel Jayson; only to discover Daniel Jayson was seated sipping his glass of wine..
“Oh, you are here.” Grace said.
“Yeah, this is my Re-creational center. I do this at my leisure time and I took the opportunity to wait for you. “
“That's healthy you know.” she smiled.
“Yeah I know. Please sit! Place an order.” Daniel commanded politely.
Grace ordered a drink and meal while Daniel Jayson ordered another drink.
There was silence. She ate and he continued sipping his drink.
Daniel Jayson broke the silence.
“So, how are you enjoying your place of work? I heard the pay is good and they have high regards for the staff.”
Grace Smiled as she said, “ Yeah, it's worth the stress as the salary is better and the bonuses are worth it “.
“That's good. how has life been with you? I thought you were married.” Daniel Jayson joked.
“Is that why you treat me like I don't matter? Let's say, I still believe we will be together again and I have been waiting patiently for you.”
“Hmmm! That's ridiculous. What if you met me married? What if I am married?” Daniel Jayson asked.
“ But you are not.
Who doesn't know Daniel Jayson in town and all that happens around him? You are a celebrity and you make headlines on TV.”
“Oh! I almost forgot. So tell me, what is this about? “
“ Daniel, it's been difficult erasing memories of you. I will want us together. I am still in love with you despite all that happened.”
Daniel Jayson looked at Grace for some seconds as if searching for the right words to say to her.
“Grace, I have always known you to be head strong but I didn't know it was to this extent.”
“Is that a compliment?” Grace asked as she rolled her eyes.
“ you are a beautiful and attractive lady Grace. Yes we had something going on back then but we have all move past this. I mean, I have move past that. There are people dying to have you. Look at you! Beautiful, intelligent, and smart.”
He said in his baritone voice.
Grace feeling discouraged said,” so why can't I be better for you Daniel? You mean I meant nothing to you? After this?”
Daniel Jayson shocked and mouth open asked. “Where did you get that picture from?”
