23 Luther sat, waiting. It had been about fifteen minutes, so he was due… “How much longer are we gonna sit here?” Adam asked. Luther looked at his watch. Right on cue. “As long as it takes. Which means until the next shift of bouncers shows up. Which should be any minute.” Which was, in fact, a complete fabrication. Luther had no idea when they’d switch over, but it sounded reasonable.
