We are back on the highway and getting off at an interchange. We drive through the most incredible roads covered with trees from both sides, the sunrays shining through gaps, and it looks amazing. I stand up on the seat with my bare feet, half my body sticking through the sunroof of the Jeep, taking videos of the road. The music is playing, the wind is in my hair, and it feels amazing!
We reach the bottom of HongJiaoLing mountain, and I get back up through the sunroof. This is fun. John drives up the mountain, and the thin curved roads take all of his concentration. It’s a steep climb. The fallen leaves on the ground, the incline, and the unfamiliarity are making me a little nervous, but I get to take a really cool video on the drive.
