We park the Jeep, ready to go to Monkey Island, head into the ticket booth, buy the tickets, and get onto the cable car. We pass over the fishing village below, an entire village built on the water! The houses have floating structures underneath, and there are netted areas underneath the houses and next to them where the owners breeding fish. It’s fascinating to see as we pass over.
In the distance, there’s a platform built over the water, similar to where we’ve been in WenChang, but this one is just a long walkway, great for pictures.
