Veronica smiled at the image on her dressing mirror as she sat down. She picked her body lotion and applied it on her palm, rubbed them together and applied it on her body. She thereafter took her smoothing and dark spot remover oil and applied it in her knuckles, knee, elbow and her toes. She took her facial cream and applied it on her face. Veronica smiled as she stood up and wear her panties. She slowly let her towel fall off her body. She picked her royal blue dinner gown from her bed and slipped it on. Valentine's night is going to be romantic. Valentine was supposed to be red but Veronica thought wearing red on valentine would be childish. So she chose her favourite colour, royal blue. Veronica turned around to check herself in the mirror. "Wow". She exclaimed to herself. "I'm so beautiful". She laughed and untie her hair . She picked her 36inches bone straight and put it on her head . She applied some hair oil on it and brushed it down. She sat down again and did her makeover. Blue matte and glitter gold eyeshadow with nude lip. Nothing can ever look more sexy and seductive. Royal blue gown going with gold jewelries, heels and purse. OMG!!! Veronica's definitely gonna drive someone crazy. Veronica stood up and took a look at herself in the mirror. She saw an elegant beauty. A royal damsel waiting for her knight to come for her. She sighed as the thought of still being a spinster flashed through her mind. Her face darkened at the thought. She tried so many relationships but no one really loves her. It's either they are after her money or they want to become famous through her. She sighed again as she prays her date shouldn't be like the others. She took her towels from the floor and hung them on the hanger in the bathroom. She was about to go out when she sighted a perfume someone presented to her for val. She took it and sprayed a little of it on her wrist and smelled it. It smelled nice. She sprayed it on her dress, wrist and neck. She dropped it and went out of her room. When she got out of her room, she went to her dinning and took a chocolate out of it box and ate it, She opened the wine there too and poured some into a wine cup and sipped it. She stood up and went to her living room, she carried the flower on her table and smelled it. It smelled like the perfume she used. She picked the card in it and read: Because of your smile. You made the world more beautiful. Veronica smiled"Izzy is just too funny". She took her car key and went out of her house. {Damini's hotel and suites} DAVID MARSHALL entered the reception and was welcomed by a young lady. "Welcome to Damini's hotel and suites" . The receptionist said to him. "How may be of service to you?" David smiled at her. "I came in the morning to book for a lodge. Diamond platinum ". "Alright sir". The receptionist said and operated her computer system. She took a room key and gave it to David. "Here sir, someone will escort you there. You'll meet him on the stairs". "Okay thanks".David said as he collected the key and went to the stairs. He met a young guy as the receptionist said. "Welcome sir".The young guy said and stretched his hand to collect his key and lead him to his room. He opened the door and gestured him to go in. "Thank you".David said. "Enjoy your stay".The guy said and went away. David closed the door and went round the room. It was a two bedroom with a table for two dinning in one corner of the living room. He picked the room's telecom and dailed the kitchen based on the manual beside it. He ordered for dish and wine then he went to sit down and looked at his wristwatch and picked his phone. He dialled a number and clicked on the ear pud in his ear. "Hello... Damsel....Okay. Sweetheart...No...I actually just got here...... No... Don't be... Thirty minutes isn't to long for a beauty like you...But remember that I can't wait to see you..Bye..kisses..". He chuckled and he ended the call. {Vero's villa} Veronica smiled as the call ended. She walked to her car. "Alejo!..Alejo!!..Alejo!!!". "Yes ma'am". Alejo answered running from his apartment." Sorry. I was busy in my room". " Oh. You are busy with your Valentino in your room ". Veronica joked and smiled." Anyways, Happy valentine, here's my present for you ". " Aww. Thanks ma'am. God bless you". Alejo said. " Please open the gate. I'm going out and I'm not coming home. Please lock the gate very well. I will call you when m at the gate". "Alright ma". Alejo said and went to open the gate. Veronica got into the car and locked the seatbelt. She turned on the air purifier and the scent smelled familiar. She turn on the air conditioner and the ignition and drove out of the compound. She turned on the music and was listening to heartbreaker by Ayox. 'You said you love me but you lied to me'. She sang along as the memories of her past relationships came flashing back. How all her relationships failed. From lies to deceit to betrayal to heartbreak. All thanks to Izzy who was there to mend her heart anytime it was broken without expecting anything back in return. He won't even get mad when she turned down all of his offers and proposal. He accepted when she told him she can't date him but she can have him as a friend. Nothing more than a friend. She recalled the day he kissed her. They were in the studio and she tripped over but Izzy caught her before she reached the group and held her for sometime then kissed her. Lol. It was cute. He apologized as soon as he got back to his senses. Izzy wants nothing but her happiness. Veronica smiled and bit her lips as she remembered the kiss. But wait! Why doesn't she love Izzy? Why doesn't she has one single of love towards him? Maybe she should try to give him chance. It David has proven to to be like her exes. She would give him a chance. Veronica all of the sudden started feeling uneasy. Her heart was pounding hard and fast like she's scared. Her throat dried up. She doesn't feel any went on her tongue. She took the table water beside her, opened it and drank it as far as she could but the water does not seem to help, her lungs keeps drying. What could be happening to her? She wondered. She felt a one side headache and her eyes were teary. She felt heat despite the coldness of her car. She was feeling dizzy as her body started shaking. She drove to one side of the road and parked there. She took off the jewelries and they were making her uncomfortable. She took her phone and dialed David's phone. It was ringing but he wasn't picking up. She choked as she continued to dail David's number but he wasn't picking up still. Veronica felt her tommy tightening and her liver twisting. Her head was banging and her throat dried up quickly. She doesn't know what to do anymore. She removed her wig and rested her head back. Izark! The name came ringing and Veronica quickly grabbed her phone and dialed Izzy's number and he picked up at once. "Hello. Damsel". Izzy said. "How's your Val's night going?". "Izzy... Help ... Me..
