Emma’s POV
Monday went really smoothly. I had the video from my office in Atlanta, as well as the one from the store, on Saturday. I also bought the pictures of my injuries to go along with them. I had several eyewitnesses who showed up and spoke about what they had witnessed.
Brooks, Colton, Wade, and my mother had all come to the courthouse. Brooks was a respected, well-known member of the community. He didn’t embellish; he just told the judge what he saw and that he knew that Noel would return, even with the trespass order in place. The judge saw it himself in the bodycam video that Wade brought with him.
Colton advised that he had a video too, but the judge was willing to sign off on the no-contact order with just viewing Wade’s video and getting their testimony. Both
