“Lexi, have you met your new in-house doctor?” Doctor Yan asked Lexi from her office.
“New doctor?” Lexi checked as she put the charts back inside the drawer. She was on her weekend duty in her clinic, and she had just finished her morning shift.
“Yes, oh, not just the doctor. He took over Manuel's spot,” Doctor Yan replied, walking out of her office. “He’s another Swiss guy,” she added.
Lexi looked at doctor Yan. “Oh, that’s interesting,” she mumbled.
Doctor Yan nodded. “Yes, you are right. Very interesting,”
Lexi inhaled, “Well, I shall see it tomorrow then,” she shrugged her shoulders as she began to put her stuff inside her bag, “My job is in so much easier since he left. And I’ll be happy to work with our new director,” she stated, albeit her guts said something wasn’t right.
